I do not fit this century, at all, and it sucks. Like, I'm probably not the only one to have some kind of facination with the 70s, 80s, 90s, I am sure of that. Like, mostly with the clothing, I think it was way better before, it was weird but classy, colorful but it still looked like not too much, hairstyles were incredibly bold and extra, jewelery was poping out, you could almost wear anything with everything and it would look gorgeous. I am in love with this style but I can't find anything like that anywhere. Now, we have ccrop tops, and most of the shirts that cover your belly are in the men's section. Everything is super tight and short, shirts, pants, dresses, skirts, shorts, anything! It makes me crazy, seriously. That's why I often pick most of my clothes in thrift stores, but I am not always lucky. It's not what it was. Before, anyone could wear anything and look pretty good, of course there was baddies, teachers pet, sports rat, nerds, goth, etc... But even there, when blend up, it all looked unique and had pretty much their own style. Today, look at us, we all look the same, all girls look the same, all guys look the same, it became boring. Clothing is supposed to be a way to express ourselves. We shouldn't be affraid of dressing up the way we want. Today, everyone want to look like everyone, no one is poping out of this and I find it sad. I am a poping out person, I always knew it, but i feared the look of others on me, so I dressed like them for a long time, I try to be more myself but it's difficult but I do my best.

With all these leggings, crop tops, mini hoodie and vests, it's hard to dress like I want. And it's so not body diversity friendly. Yes there is more plus size stuff, but do yall think about all the thin-waist-but-huge-boobs girls who can never find the right bra, a shirt that fits well and covers everything or just a dress that fits. All the large-waist-but mini-boobs girls who can't wear everything because the dress/top is too loose on the front. All the large-hips-but-no-ass-and-thin-legs girls who can't find the right size of jeans or the right shorts that won't make her legs look like chopsticks. All the small-waist-huge-thighs girls that can't wear a pair of jeans without a belt or a dress that fit up there and down too. It's hard to find our own stlye and often, we are forced to pop out and find our stuff somewhere else.

Not many people have the balls to get out of the mold with their style, I admire them so much. I want to look like that modern witch, a human size mid-modern fairy, the crazy lady with funny clothes and weird house, clown in disguise, rainbow person, crazy like style. I am very polyvalent with my clothes, I like to drift from a style to another. Finding items and piece of clothes that fit the description AND is budget friendly is no easy task.

I am tired so I will stop there, I think I don't have anything to say anyway. Little wrap up, today's style of clothing is trash and not body diversity friendly and it's cold and soulless. I encourage anyone who is going out of the mold of today's society. Do whatever you want with your clothes.
