It would seem that heartache and loss are becoming more and more common within our city as of late. The Dukes of Worthington seem to be at odds forevermore, if the empty bottles of brandy that now litter the floor of Grimm’s salon are anything to go by.

Is there no hope at all for our young lovers? Or will the Worthington Ball truly be the last time we see them?

To whom it may concern,

There are some things, dear reader, that cannot be hidden away with soft touches and loving looks. There are some things that must always see the light. Some truths that must always come forth. It is a task that this author has taken upon herself with no small amount of pain and with little enjoyment, indeed.

One can only wonder what sort of understanding there once was between the Viscount and Viscountess Summers and the Duke of Worthington, but I can assure you of this: it has not found its end yet.
