Хенран посадил семечко…
… и выросло оно огромным древом, под которым протекала жизнь поколений. Это целая жизнь, запечатанная под древней корой, которая словно панцирь покрывает мощный ствол дерева. Его магическое присутствие, наполненное душами всех, кто был раньше и каждого, кто придет на смену нынешнего поколения зверолюдей, просто поражает воображение.
Наверное, раньше было лучше — старики из этого племени постоянно говорят о чем-то таком, потому что живут долго-долго, куда больше, чем отмерено человеку вроде меня. Они устали от круговорота, в котором вертится жизнь, бесконечных бед, сменяющихся небольшими островками безмятежного счастья. Мне даже жаль, что хенраны больше не такие беззаботные, как прежде. Люди им не особо нравятся, они считаются вестниками бед. Так-то и возразить нечего, потому я предпочитаю быть терпеливой и помалкивать. Благо, это у меня получается лучше всего.
Мне жаль, что такое прекрасное древо охвачено скверной. Я хотела бы взглянуть на него вновь, когда все станет как прежде и когда хенраны вновь смогут жить спокойно… Надеюсь, что такое время настанет. А пока я могу лишь оказать ту небольшую помощь, которая в моих силах. И верить в то, что однажды древо вновь заискрится жизнью.
