Corporate Thuggin' Feat. Vince Staples [Prod. By BLXST] (Official Video) - Joey Fatts
Album Covers of 2024
My city turning up
It’s getting hot as fuck
He In minnesota with wolves
Counting bucks
You better run it up
That shit you had was not enough
Unemployment helped them boys they was lucking up
I got it too and flipped it
Cashed out on the newest truck
It’s war going on boy you better duck
We on some 03 shit
Knucking if you buck
2020 it was and it’s staying stuck
My bro sick in the head
You gon if he shake his dreads
I’m smoother than the smoothest kappa and i never pledge
How you my enemy but you never made me bled
I was in his territory and the nigga fled
We ride with so much ice they think the whipping sleds
Sleep on me i got polo horses on my bed
My life the shit
I’m eating breakfast while I’m getting head
Heard it’s a bounty on him na the nigga playing dead
Rock ice till we numb up
Girl you with the gang turn up
Gotta party till the sun up
All i want is you
Tryna put you on game
You was used to the lames
Ya life will never be the same all i want you
You wanna see my neighborhood it ain’t safe there
It’s rule to the game
But they don’t play fair
Grimey niggas heard they shooting up day cares
In broad day man i swear dem boys don’t Care
These days you gotta come Huey in the chair
Get violent if people wanna take it there
I rather hit miami chill in the Telly pool
We got the bnb tell me if you coming thru
Imma put some liquor to the side tell me what you like
If you sippin on dark or you thinking
White
It’s getting too dark maybe you should spend a night
You think one night
Or could we make it for life
Real niggas rare
Like my pair of nike airs
You really wanna take it there
Baby we take it there
Live life no care
Wind blow in ya hair
On point gotta stare
All i want is you
It’s the middle of the summer
It’s the middle of the summer
We showing off our winter grind
It’s the middle of the summer
Still it’s on money on my mind
It’s the middle of the summer
Stay out the way or keep a iron
It’s the middle of the summer
War zone and hella crime
It’s the middle of the summer
Exotic trips
Expensive shoes
It’s the middle
Of the summer
Stay out the way don’t make the news
It’s the middle of the summer
They turning red our faces blue
It’s the middle of the summer
Re’d up our forces new

BLXST DROPS ANTICIPATED ALBUM 'LABOR OF LOVE'
Grammy-nominated, West Coast singer-songwriter, producer, and visionary BLXST returns with his new album Labor of Love, via EMPIRE and International BLXST. Marking his first full-length project in two years, the 13-track album features Sasha Keable, Cheyenne Wright, Oakland poet Love Rich TT, and Big Sad 1900.
Entirely self-written and produced by BLXST, Labor of Love finds him reconnecting with the foundation that first inspired his journey in music. Built around themes of love, perseverance, fatherhood, and personal growth, the album serves as his most honest and vulnerable body of work to date, offering a deeper look into the man behind the music. Further reflecting that sense of home and self-discovery, the album artwork was photographed at his childhood home on the East Side of South Central Los Angeles.
The album arrives alongside the official video for “Ruin” featuring Sasha Keable, filmed at the iconic Frank’s Restaurant in Burbank. The visual follows BLXST as he observes couples navigate tension and frustration, with Keable appearing as a waitress against a warm, nostalgic backdrop.
At its core, Labor of Love explores the idea that love is not simply a feeling, but a daily commitment. Throughout the intro and the album trailer, BLXST shares that love is actual labor– it’s showing up, even when you're tired or facing challenges. "You don't have to be perfect, just don't quit," he reflects, underscoring the project's central message of resilience. Drawing from the highs and lows of life and his journey as an independent artist, the album captures the lessons, growth, and perspective he has gained along the way, embracing the belief that setbacks are just as important to the journey as successes.
Labor of Love follows BLXST's acclaimed 2024 album and short film I'll Always Come Find You, a character-driven concept project that unfolded across four cinematic acts. While that release explored fictional narratives and expansive storytelling, Labor of Love strips away the characters and concepts, placing BLXST himself at the center of the story.
Labor of Love is available on all major streaming platforms. Stream the new album HERE.
