RIP to my spouse because both the baby and I had multiple MAJOR meltdowns this afternoon simultaneously. X) Bluekitten and I both felt better after getting some food (pizza for me, some formula to supplement the breastmilk for them), but we are gearing up for night four at the hospital (Bluekitten is getting treated for jaundice), and we are all very ready to go home.
On the bright side, we tried to flip baby onto their stomach so the light therapy could reach their back, and they just flat out did a half-plank. This kid has better core strength than I do!
I babysat my sister's 6-month-old today (while also caring for 7-month-old Bluekitten) and watching them together is hilarious because it's like
Bluekitten was fussing while I was eating a bowl of granola, so I put them in my lap and continued to eat for about 0.5 sconds before they seized the bowl and just dumped the entire thing into my lap. Grabbing Milestone: Achieved!
