The saddest thing about Richard x Bob to me is that Richard definitely vented to Bob before and let himself be vulnerable and held by Bob. Like he genuinely loved him immensely. And all he gets in repayment is that Bob kind of backstabbed him for cannibalism. That's how sad that was.
The only good thing from that is like... Aaron or Carmen being with Richard afterwards. Like he gets to be happy with someone who actually cares for him y'know?!
GOD also Bob is an incredibly cagey person. Richard would probably know little to nothing about how Bob feels or his struggles.
Maybe Bob did love him, or maybe it was like a game to him. Maybe Richard could’ve been a potential victim. I think these thoughts would haunt Richard and disturb him greatly. (You can be the judge of that though your the expert oh him lol)
I wonder if he’s ever told anyone about him and Bob. Would he tell Carmen or Aaron? Would he keep it locked away deep inside after being betrayed by Bob. After all he exposed the deepest darkest parts of himself to Bob only to be left behind and betrayed.
