Help finding a tumblr ask series(????)
(I think it might have been a comic idea that was still in progress but idk if the artist ever finished it)
SO. This series has been Haunting Me & I have no idea what a SINGLE character is called OR what key word is necessary for it to actually show up on my search.
So if anyone recognizes this description, PLEASE let me know I'm dyin' out here:
The protagonists are 2 small time villains in a superhero setting, both mad scientist types (and loosely based off the antagonists of the first psychonauts game)
One, short and gruff, is from a family of heroes. They tried to train him to be his brothers sidekick, but after going through so much abuse he eventually rebelled and became a full-fledged villain. He might have magneto powers, but that might also be just a thing he built.
His partner (romantic & in crime) has a bit more of a mysterious past. He started out as a villain, but went through some rough times that ultimately led to him losing his arm. iirc the gruffer villain helped him when he was at a low point in his life & he's stuck around ever since. I don't think he has any powers beyond increased intelligence, but he DOES have a sick robot arm.
They also take care of the gruff villain's niece, who's going through a similar situation except I think she might not have any powers either but idk.
Oh, there's also some kind of pet in this scenario (It might be a lab rat??? or perhaps some sort of lizard. I do know it was unusual for a pet tho).
The plot focused around them taking care of the kid while trying to steal parts for some big project that was going to be in the official series.
They also had a few crossovers with a western setting another creator made but idk what that was either.
