April 25, 2023 - Craig has found his zen in Bled - at least in April before all the tourists arrive. It really is tremendously relaxing but unfortunately I decided to repeatedly do yoga and meditation instead of sleeping last night. And as anyone who knows me, this state does not help my mood the next day. Note to self, rose is still red wine and chocolate soufflé with chocolate ganache and gelato probably has caffeine in it. Bad combination.

We took the stairs up 100m in elevation to Castle Bled. Can’t tell you much more so thank goodness Craig snapped these shots but I do recall the views were incredible. We then hiked/walked around the Lake which includes the Olympic Rowing Club, fishing and swimming docks, villas and their gardens, and a much closer look at the cathedral on the Island in the middle.
