Another sad product of Cougarstar. Blazingheart was raised fairly among his littermates, although he was usually behind them just because he was never as skilled. However, after Grizzlypaw’s disappearance and Hawkheart’s opposition to Cougarstar, Blazingheart became the leader’s next target of glory. He knew Snowfoot didn’t like his leadership, and that he needed a new deputy ready. Thus, Blazingheart was overglorified, even to the point of his given warrior name.

Blazingheart’s praise never really affected him, though his sister Summerfur was absolutely bitter. She revolted against him and even attacked him once. They began to part, and Blazingheart grew lonely in his clan, only having a few close friends and Cougarstar’s praise as any real positivity. He made new friends from other clans, usually other toms, then learning he was attracted to them. He always got away with leaving camp to visit them because of his given status.
