Hair brushing and styling is something that is very intimate to Caphriel. Normally he just braids his hair and puts it up while going into the Sanguis Corpusculum; it's the easiest style Caphriel can manage while he's working and still keep a little of his outward personality. He has little time for anything more elaborate.
An ideal way for Caphriel to relax is a long bath (which I'll write a separate post for!), preferably with his lover so they can wash his hair. When there's time for it, Caphriel does a whole regimen: shampoo, conditioner, and then oils; combing in between each application. If you're gentle enough with him, Caphriel may even fall asleep.
But this is only the beginning. Once back in his quarters, Caphriel has an array of ribbons, clips, and beads he wants his lover to adorn his hair with. He will trust them to style him, keeping his head in their lap so he can listen to the rumbling of their voice in his stomach.
Sanguinala is the best time to see Caphriel in his splendor. His hair is braided into a crown and woven with red ribbons and silver chains. Bells hang from the ends of the chains and jingle when Caphriel turns his head.
