FELLED. For #inktober2019 Day 1, with the prompt "ring".🌳 . As you may have noticed, I failed at "taking it easy" and went straight for the high-detail, wrist-annihilating, fineliner design. Because I'm an idiot, but also because I love doing lots of detail in ink. Sue me. (well, my wrist might, by the end of the month). Anyway. This was fun, and so it begins! . I inspired myself quite a bit from the incredible @willmurai for the plants and environment in this piece. His ink pieces are out of this world, and I want to practice textures and composition this month. . I hope you like this first piece, and that your Tuesday is going well! . In this #penandink #sketchbook doodle by Rob Turpin (@thisnorthernboy) the inhabitants of a cliff-dwelling house travel the seas on a mysterious floating island... but no one seems to bother them. They either have some killer security system, or they’ve tapped into some Elder God magic and fastened a dozen or so tentacles to their chunk of terra firma. Security and propulsion... and only at the sake of a few points of sanity? Sounds like a deal to me!
