Flintlock pistols with yummy delicious bullets at the 95th Rifles reenactment display. 😋 That's a block of lead used as a paperweight on the infantry square picture, a ladle for molten lead, and moulds for individual bullets. I can't help but think of cookie dough portioners or melon ballers, despite the distinctly different appearance.
A lot of the reenactors are active in black powder shooting, which is something that I would love to do (with a real flintlock, ideally!) It's a thin line between historical reenactment and traditional muzzleloaders, and making one's own bullets and cartridges is common.
