It had been a week since the chef and the swordsman’s ridiculous argument and they were only halfway to the next island. Zoro wouldn’t drink, and Sanji hadn’t said a word. Robin wasn’t going to sit for a moment longer and watch this ridiculousness. Pride. Excessive Male Pride. What a stupid notion. It fueled her usually calm demeanor into one of acute annoyance. Thus, it was when everyone was on deck, enjoying a cool drink in the sun as Zoro pretending he wasn’t noticing that she grabbed the water bottle beside her and stood with a flourish, her book falling to the chair behind her, causing all eyes to gravitate in her direction. Stalking across the deck over to the swordsman.
“It’s time to put an end to this ridiculous endeavor.” She warned as she lifted the bottle to her lips and took a large mouthful of the liquid before suddenly she was in front of him, kneeling as she just as suddenly pressed her mouth to his in a deep, parting kiss. Robin paid no mind that the whole crew was there as water began to drip down between the two’s mouths- the archaeologist forcing him to take the water into his own.
