Peace & Love, Black Family! It is clear that we have no idea of what a community is. While throw the term “Black Community” around like a frisbee, we have no f’n clue of what a community is or how one operates! Maybe the generations long before us, BUT NOT US! Where do we have social units with commonality that benefits us? Sure, we have places, norms, religion, values, customs, & identities that keep us CONSCIOUSLY ASLEEP, but NONE that have awakened us. Show me a community in YOUR CITY here in the 🇺🇸 where we are situated in a given geographical area? Would you say that WE “people of Afrikan descent” have durably good relations that extend beyond immediate genealogical ties? Or all of us distrustful and hateful towards each other? How are we defining our sense of community? Where is our common identity, practices, and roles? Our social institutions, family cohesiveness within our homes? Can we give our people work? Where is our government? Are we capable of building a society separate from the one we’ve accepted in the 🧔🏼‍♂️👩🏼 man’s world? We holla’ 🟥⬛️🟩 all day but have no national communities or international communities.
