Who remembers when Katt Williams burglarized Barry Hankerson's home on a horse farm in rural west Georgia?

Williams stated that everything was a big misunderstanding and that he had been living in the Coweta County, Georgia, home for nearly a month while filming a movie produced by Hankerson, attorney William Briggs said. Williams and his lawyers denied all accusations.

@jazminesullivan reveals that she auditioned for @timbaland and @aaliyah and was suppoed to do background vocals for Aaliyah, but sadly Aaliyah had passed.

Jomo was born in 1969 and looks about 3 or 4 years old in this photo. So that would make Diane about 20-21 years old in this photo.

Team Aaliyah extends their support to Ms. Diane Haughton (Aaliyah's mother) during her difficult legal battle she is currently facing with Blackground Records.

The case is still active, with another hearing scheduled for March 2025, where Diane will need to present supporting documentation.

RECENTLY: BLACKGROUND FILED A LAWSUIT AGAINST DIANE HAUGHTON!!

Aaliyah's mother, Diane Haughton, is currently facing some difficult legal challenges.

In July 2024, Blackground Records filed a lawsuit against her, which is still in progress and set for another hearing in March 2025. The lawsuit claims "contractual fraud," with allegations totaling $243,000 (Sorry, Mistype in the graphic photo) .

This situation might be contributing to the delay of the posthumous album "Unstoppable." It's possible, but there are other factors at play as well. Reports indicate that the distribution company EMPIRE severed its relationship with Blackground about a year ago, which likely complicated matters further. Additionally, the family-approved Aaliyah documentary, which was completed nearly a year ago, has yet to be released—could this also be tied to the ongoing issues?

Let’s keep Diane in our thoughts, hoping she finds a resolution to these challenges. It’s truly heartbreaking to see her endure so much loss, struggling to generate funds for the Aaliyah Memorial Fund, while also dealing with declining health and such a brother who many believe has exploited the situation and his own nieces name and success for personal gain.

Team Aaliyah has always disliked Barry Hankerson and Blackground Records, and this will only reinforce that sentiment.

Funny that back then there was "No Unreleased Material" but... now there is..?? Rumored to be release "around her Bday" (with nothing on the horizon from Blackground themselves) despite her birthday being a day (and some change) away.

After Aaliyah's passing (August 2001), Barry Hankerson takes a romantic interest in 22 year old Kyme Dang (a California hairstylist). After 5 years of dating, Dang would end the relationship (in 2006) and Hankerson would display extreme, petty and even reckless break-up revenge tactics.

Most folks after a break up steal a tv on the way out the door, slash a car tire, prank call, or even write their ex's number on a bathroom stall saying "call for a good time". Welp, I guess receiving a 90 Million dollar settlement after his niece's death made him feel like a God.

December 6. 2007, Dang files a wrongful termination lawsuit, CASE# BC381837.

Dang provides supporting evidence in her claims that Hankerson had spread false rumors over the internet that she had HIV; Hankerson purchased her place of employment for 400k then terminated her. The only thing she couldn't prove was that Hankerson set her car on fire.

On New Year's Day 2012, Blackground Records agreed to act as guaranty for the settlement agreement of 4.6 Million but, Hankerson never paid and Dang was awarded 5.8 Million by a jury.
