Guy Fieri's Black and Blue Burger is a flavorful and spicy burger with a kick of blackening seasoning and the creaminess of blue cheese. It's perfect for those who love a little heat in their burger.
Ingredients: 1 1/2 pounds ground beef chuck. 2 tablespoons blackening seasoning. 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese. 4 hamburger buns. 1/2 cup mayonnaise. 2 tablespoons hot sauce. 1 cup shredded lettuce. 1 large tomato, sliced. 1 red onion, thinly sliced. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Warm up the grill over medium-high heat. Shape the ground beef into 4 burger patties that are all the same size. Add salt and pepper to both sides of each patty to make them blacken. Put the burger patties on the grill and cook them for four to five minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer if you like them more done. Add crumbled blue cheese to top of each patty in the last minute of cooking and let it melt a bit. While the burgers are cooking, split the buns in half and toast them on the grill until they are just barely browned. Put hot sauce and mayonnaise in a small bowl and mix them together to make spicy mayo. Spread the spicy mayo on the toasted bun halves to make the burgers. Start with a burger patty on the bottom bun. Then add tomato slices, red onion slices, and shredded lettuce on top of that. Put the top bun on top and serve right away. Have fun with your tasty Black and Blue Burger!
