Her scent, once rich in depth, permeating the air wherever she stood with layers of roasted coconut and hibiscus had become faint; barely perceptible even in the midst of a wuthering wind. She was out of her element. Far from home. An ocean away from her life force. His Michonne was dying, and he only had himself to blame.
