uh. I’m a small Black Indigenous creator who is working on an indie series that will eventually be animated. We are looking for some voice actors.
So my series is about a Black Indigenous child named Ash Samuels-Trevor who goes through sexual harassment at school. This adds on to their already severe anxiety and intrusive thoughts, not to mention that xer sleep paralysis demon (in their head) psychologically torments them. They have good friends who are aware of the situation, but the principal doubts Ash due to the fact that xe are Black. Each group member faces their own struggles and problems. After one too many bad experiences, Ash’s guardian angel, Lis, comes down from Heaven to protect xem. They cause chaos in the group’s world and start to build up Ash’s confidence. There’s just one problem: Lis is a little bit overprotective of Ash…
This is supposed to be a fantasy psychological horror comedy with queer representation, people of color as the main cast, and disability representation.
Ash themself is on the aroace spectrum and has IBS or another inflammatory bowel disease and is half blind. Krystal is half Lebanese, biromantic, greysexual. Anjuli is Indian, trans, has ADHD and depression, and lesbian. Lis is transmasc, genderfluid, Korean, Mexican, has BPD, and omnisexual. Celia is a nonambulatory wheelchair user, lesbian, Black, and has spina bifida. Chris is the sole white one, boyflux, and bisexual.
This series takes place in late middle school/early high school and will have triggering elements. You do not have to interact with this series if you are uncomfortable with the following: panic attacks, anxiety attacks, child predators, grooming, sexual harassment, sexual assault, racism, arophobia, aphobia, homophobia, transphobia, gender dysphoria, body dysmorphia, and gore.
