I’ve been imagining this story prompt for a week now and am finally writing it down

Danny and Tim are in the same class (college or high school idc) and Tim has a raging fever from some infection he got tumbling around Gotham rooftops and alleys. It’s a filthy city, infections are gonna happen (does he have a spleen? dealers choice).

Danny, Tim, and another classmate are put on a team project for the duration of the class, and the other notices Tim is flushed and sweaty and calls him out for it like “Hey dude I think you’re super sick you should go to the nurse” and puts a hand against Tim’s forehead to test for fever. Tim’s too exhausted to protest. He’s legit almost passing out but good at hiding it.

“Wow he’s really burning up. Danny, feel this.”

“Nah I can never tell,” Danny says. “I run cold so checking temp isn’t something I’m good at.”

“Well maybe that’ll help him wake up a little,” and the other classmate grabs Danny’s hand and puts it against Tim’s cheek.

Tim sighs and presses his face into Danny’s hand like a cat. Danny blushes. Other Classmate laughs and shoves Danny closer to Tim, who absolutely buries his face against Danny’s neck and drags him into a vice-grip-hug.

Danny is sputtering and blushing tomato red.

The teacher finally notices and walks over. Whole class is watching, laughing, whispering. Other Classmate explains to teacher that Tim is super feverish and teacher tells Danny to take Tim to the nurse.

Danny tries to move away but Tim holds on tighter and Danny eventually just sighs and lifts Tim into a princess carry (making more classmates giggle or whistle) before walking out of the room to go find the nurse’s office on campus.

Jimmy Olsen was also voiced by David Kaufman, and looks just like Kyle and Wes.

...just a little shorter.

But now that Jimmy’s pics of Superman are on the front page of the Daily Planet twice a week Kyle has proof aliens exist that he can keep tossing in Wes’ face.

@stealingyourbones has made some delightful food abominations, which taught me I can replace the water in bread with almost any liquid.

So I tried Miso.

The yeast loved it and frothed up super fast. Mixing miso broth with the egg and oil smelled funky. The dough didn’t rise any fluffier than usual but the texture feels good. Then I decided to roll in some black garlic and green onion. I’d add nori crumbled up but I ran out.

Purim - holiday about a community avoiding slaughter, celebrated by dressing up in silly costumes to mock uppity politicians, and eating hamentaschen (triangle shaped jam filled cookies)

I should make a hamentaschen shaped pie and eat it while gazing at the blood moon dressed as Luigi Mangione

Danny quickly discovers he can’t move a certain distance away from his bones.

He’s freaking out about never being able to leave Amity Park ever again and certainly never be an astronaut when Tucker shrugs and says “so always take one with you? Like, it’d be easy to have a small one in your pocket.”

And then Sam has a Goth Epiphany and smiles real big and creepy and just says,

“Bone jewelry.”

When one of my coworkers has a birthday I ask if they have a request.

This one kid has the strangest flavor ideas because he has no understanding of baking, just things he likes. I love that his requests make me have to sit down and think how would I do that?
