A mini comic of the medieval AU, partial backstory of Optimus who well know to be a jester in the future

I decided to change up Op and Megatron’s origins. So Optimus has to grow up in a struggling environment, while Megatron lives among royalty. A big part of his backstory involves his carrier - Silverstar

While short, her part plays a crucial role in OP’s development as a mech

Her name is Silverstar, which some can recognise as the name me and my friend chose for one of OP’s sparklings. We decided it would be nice to have the name as a reference to Silverstar’s grandma so to speak. Heh

She’s an Optimist, even in dire situation she was forced to raise her own. Also the sire is Ultra Magnus who is one of the commanders of Megazarak’s royal guard. ( just letting it sink in )

Also BONUS scenario:

Megs and Op play outside, on the lawn. They climb a small tree, Megs has an easier time due to his little claws. Optimus climbs up faster, he doesn’t want to lose the race to the top. But, Optimus slips off and falls on his face. He acquires a little scratch ( it’s again a short tree )

Optimus tries not to panic, regaining his footing and already going to climb back up-

But megs already leapt down and oh no

Megs starts freaking out ( he starts pointing at the little scratch op has, and when the little prime starts leaking some energon, Megs cries )

This makes Op panic and cry as well.

So imagine the horror the carriers were in as two crying babies ran into the house. ( meg carries op )

Megs still cries while Op gets patched up, his carrier soothing him. All things get solved once Op comes back happy with a lollipop his sire gave him.

It would be adorable if the op and megs rivalry would start as a bitlet friendship ! While Op would enjoy Meg’s company, he’d still run and avoid Meg’s due to his pushy attitude. If you’re playing w baby Meg’s, that means you’re playing by his rules, otherwise he may go feral. However when Op does that, which is a lot, he takes it as a challange.

Like when Op just wants to escape Meg’s attempt to drag him back to the play zone, he thinks it’s tag. Or when Op hides, it’s hide and seek.

He’s an affectionate maniac

Dw if he accidentally hurts Op, he starts to cry as well.

Babies awhhh. Meg’s first word is ‘prime’ btw

Bee will become more cranky and anxious abt Op’s safety and even look in the mirror in horror-

That baby was in the allspark asking Primus :

‘Hey, what kind of carrier will I have ?’

And poof Sentinel is pregnant, not by choice btw. Thats what that bitch gets for killing the primes.

In this AU, Sentinel did get the matrix. BUT. it disspeared….. it went in his forge and he was pregnant w Orion. It’s divine punishment. He had to carry the baby in order for the energon to flow.

He would definitely be a shitty parental figure, but he’d come around the sparkling. Since it’s his in all senses. This Orion will be more like sentinel in character, pretty spoiled.

I wanted Sentinel to go through a character arc. While he’d be a decent parent, spoiling his child, one thing he could not give Orion is the truth about the primes. That idea causes a fear to grow in him, the fear that he’ll have to kill his own sparkling in case he finds out the truth.

Primus would grant him nightmares of where he kills his son first-servo.

When push comes to shove, Sentinel locks Orion in his room and hesitates to murder. He plans for shadowplay, however Orion escapes, and to hide - he throws away his cog. This is when energon stops flowing. ( mining is still a thing bc quints suck and want more )

Even if sentinel went through with the shadowplay, he’d never forgive himself internally. He’s a mother.

Best case scenario Orion would be locked away, Rapunzel style.
