Do you suggest any bitties that could act as possible guard dogs? I'm making a orphanage caretaker looking for big bitties to help protect the orphans in their care and their orphanage, and perhaps a slightly smaller bitty for their own personal home and two adoptive kids.
Of course!
Well, right off that bat and probably a little cliché, but full sized or bara Boneys would be the best bet! Boneys are pretty in tune with the emotions and intentions of other beings which is why they tend to be so friendly! But they’ll definitely protect their families!
Although I will gather a list of a couple others and their difficulties for you incase you’d like something a little different, especially since some kids might be frightened by a skeletal dog.
✦ Knits - basic/intermediate (their whole thing is about guarding and protecting! Unfortunately you’d need at least 5 other bitties living in the house hold as well, preferably ones they already know, they are not solitary bitties)
✦ Huggys - beginner/basic (while even a mini Huggy is pretty strong, full size and bara are better deterrents for possibly hostile individuals, but any size is a great playmate or babysitter for kids)
✦ Kissys - beginner/basic (while quite a bit weaker than Huggys, they’d still make a great babysitter for kids and work very well with Huggys, they’d be able to keep kids safe and calm if a situation ever needs to get physical)
↡↡Note - all bitties in this section must be adopted with at least one other also from this section↡↡
✦ Cudas - basic (also very good for defending your home, not a particularly small bitty tho)
✦ Sols - basic (great bitty for the personal house! Especially if the kids are younger or still scared of the dark)
✦ Notes - basic/intermediate (while not very large they’d be proud defenders of their home if necessary)
✦ TIOs - basic/intermediate (while not very large they’d be proud defenders of their home if necessary)
✦ Cus - basic (shyer than the others, and not the best fighters, but they’d be handy in wrangling Notes or TIOs)
↟↟Note - all bitties in this section must be adopted with at least one other also from this section ↟↟
Hello! We're interested in getting a whole lot of bitties! Around 20 of them, Mind giving us a match up? We're a big place, doors are always appearing and we have bitties of all sorts of types, but there should be no problem with incompatibility due to our growing spaces. The rescue is full of anything needed for them. We also are experienced in our own rites! Thank you!
- Crim
Of course! I have plenty of bitties that I though could work well for you so here we go! Im going to list 20 and you can pick and choose who to take with you!
Rosbo(Og lamia bitty): A good fit for most bitty homes! The one here today is mini sized(21 inches total, 8 inches tall) and is a total sweetheart, she goes by Rosie and is has actually been through some service bitty training, but also technically failed since she doesn’t quite get aggressive bitties(like most Rosbo's honestly)
Amour(Lusttale Sans Winged(feathered) bitty): The Amour here today is 5 inches tall and is more than happy to be in a large bitty household! He'd love to help out around the rescue and chat to all the bitties he could! He currently goes by Amado,
Rip(Horrortale Gaster Winged(Feathered) bitty): This bitty is 3'6 and a trained guard bitty as well as trained in conflict resolution! I think he'd be a great fit for you and the rescue! He currently goes by Kinger
Blubre(Cottagecore Tale Sans bitty): The Blubre here today goes by Adam and is 7 inches tall! He's a total sweetheart and is pretty used to bitty households thanks to staying at the center and he's already helped out at the rescue we have so he should be a good fit for you as well!
Blackbre(Cottagecore Tale Gaster bitty): This Blackbre is currently named Thomas and is 9 inches tall, he's studied rescues and bitty health in general and would love to help at a rescue as much as he can!!
Scavenger(Junkpunk Tale Sans): The Scavenger here today goes by Punk and is 8 inches tall, and he honestly would love to help out at a rescue and help out where bitties may shed feathers or fur! Expect funky lil clothing and accessories to be made by him!
Ekuavi(Tale Mettaton Eldritch bitty): The bitty here today is a mini sized(1 feet) bitty and currently doesn’t have a name(he wanted his new caretaker to choose it or help him decide(aka he couldn’t decide what he wanted to be called lol)) and wants to be in a large household with lots of friends! And a rescue would be a good place to meet lots of bitties!
Flo-nato(Tale Undyne Eldritch bitty): This bitty goes by Cain and she's 2 feet long(Mini sized) and is one dense girl! She wont get tossed around by your more aggressive bitties and will actually thing they're playing honestly-
Kureku(Fell Gaster Eldritch Bitty): He's 2 feet tall(Micro) and goes by Harold, he's currently in a large herd and is basically a Gamma/Guard of the herd and would do well with other rescues! bitties that are rescued often are introduced to his pack to help them here!
Doll(tale Papyrus Neko): The everyman of Nekos honestly, Doll's are always in tune with their caretakers and love to help! The one here today is 1 foot tall(Mini) and goes by Mark right now!
Boston(Tale Sans Inusune): He's 1 foot tall and is pretty lazy but also pretty social! He'd love to help with rescues or just laze about with them! He goes by Yake currently but previously went by Luna, and his fur is black and white, he is technically transmasc due to going by she/her pronouns for a long time previously(or we consider him transmasc, and he identifies with it as well) but doesn’t mind his old name, he picked it out himself both times after all!
Pring(Sci!Swap Sans Inusune): Carl here is a trained service bitty and has been trained in how to deal with ptsd and anxiety! Though when it comes to depression he failed his training but is still helpful! Just not the best at understanding it- but he tries! He's 1 foot tall(Fulslized) and loves to help however he can!
Scale(Swapfell Bratty Kapro bitty): She is lazy like all Scales but has a bit more pep in her step and loves helping and is a trained companion bitty! She has been trained on how to open things(fridges, cabinets, even bottles) with her more pawed/clawed hands(as she is a quadruped Kapro) and is more than willing to help with a bitty rescue! She even has a specially made bag for her to help her carry things! She's 2 feet tall(Fullsized)
Camila(Doll bitty): She goes by Cally and is 5 inches tall, she loves helping and is very caring, especially towards traumatized bitties that need the extra help!
Mayweather(Doll bitty): She goes by her type name currently and is 2 feet tall, being one of the taller bitties she is more than ready to help other bitties get from place to place, the great thing about being a doll is that you don’t have muscles to get tired! She also would love to help with the bitty rescue in general!
Eevee(Pokemon bitty): The Eevee here today is shiny! A rare bitty as even the morphs they can get are less rare(and theres so many that its hard to find one that’s a true shiny) and currently goes by Vee Vee(the lil fella named himself lol) and is eager to help in any way he can!
Regius(Soft au!Jeff the killer lamia): A perfect compainion bitty that will happily coil around you and ride around! He'd love to help but is on the shy side so will need time to get used to his new environment if you adopt him, he's 10 inches tall and two feet long,
William(Chaos incarnate au!William Afton bitty): He goes by William/Will and is 10 inches tall, he'd love to help others and would love to watch over the younger or forever children bitties at your center! He's a sweetheart and doesn’t have a found family formed right now but would love to form one! He's also well versed in repairing robotic bitties!
Vanny(Chaos Incarnate au!Vanny bitty): currently following Will around honestly- so I think it would be a good idea to mention him! He goes by Vanni with an I and is a horror fanatic so wouldn’t get scared by your more spooky bitties, and find Alphatale bitties in general to be cool! He is willing to help as well and wants to learn how to repair robotic bitties like Will,
1.0 Fixed Mangle: She goes by Molly and is a total sweetheart and would love to have a place and a reason for being! Though she can be a bit shy and a people pleaser she is more used to helping out at the rescue here so should be able to adjust to helping out with you!
-
Notes: Moth, Butter, Bee, and Ant bitties would also do well as they're highly social types!
The Slime Rancher Slime bitties would also be a good fit for this reason too, they're social! But may eat things they shouldn’t-(ahem, Pink Slimes)
999 bitties from the Danger Zone is a high recommendation as wall if you're interested in Danger Zone bitties!
Chicken bitties are also social and would do well in large homes!
Centaur bitties could be a good fit, as at mini size they could still be ridden by other bitties and help with transportation if need be! Same goes for mini sized drakes but they are much larger-
Hellhound and Infelid demon bitties would be good guards!
Blue Racer Rescue
Name: Jellybean
Species:Â Blue Racer(Tale sans lamia from fantasy fields)
Morph: Jack-o-lantern morph, Sunlight morph,
Variant: N/A
Age: Young Adult
Size: 5 feet total, 2 feet standing,
Personality: Lazy, Jokester, Laid back,
Compatibility: A lazy noodle with a heart of gold (and a joke for every occasion). Jellybean thrives on naps, snacks, and bad puns.
They're the type to drape themself across a warm windowsill, blinking lazily at you while cracking a snarky comment.
Light-hearted and easygoing, they’re surprisingly affectionate in their own laid-back way and enjoy attention—even if they act like they don’t.
Excellent with other relaxed or tolerant bitties. Best around others who don’t mind teasing, frequent napping, or spontaneous lounging across their lap.
Might annoy more serious or high-strung bitties with their laziness and love of joking around.
Feeding habits: Enjoys sunlight-warmed meals and has a sweet tooth—especially for treats shaped like fruit or candy. Likes to be hand-fed if they’re feeling lazy, which is… often.
Additional info: glows brightly at night thanks to their Jack-o-lantern and Sunlight morph mix
Has speckles that shimmer under direct light and may “pulse” when excited
Body temperature is always a bit warmer than average, making them an excellent heat source in cold weather
Collects shiny or round objects, especially things that look like candy but aren’t edible.
Injuries: N/A
Special requirements: None
Warnings: N/A
Reasons for rescue: Was returned due to being so bright his previous owner couldn't sleep,
Difficulty: Beginner
Color/Pattern: bright neon black with blue speckles all over,
Normal HorrorTale Papyrus bitty
Name: Sparrow
Size: 11 - 14 inches tall(mini), 6 - 7 feet tall(fullsize)
Personality: Cheerful, overly kind, obsessively protective, unpredictable, focused, excitable, obsessive-compulsive tendencies, feral when hungry
Likes: Puzzles, complex traps, praise, collecting bones, rearranging furniture to confuse “intruders,” gentle brushing Dislikes: Hunger, being restrained, having their puzzles tampered with, sudden loud noises, betrayal (real or imagined)
Compatibility: Sparrow bitties are extremely loyal once bonded, forming strong attachments that can verge on obsessive. While they appear sweet and upbeat at first, their protective instincts run deep—if they perceive a threat to their chosen person, they will act on it, regardless of whether the threat is real. This includes other bitties, unfamiliar humans, or even household objects they find “suspicious.”
They suffer from a mix of feral tendencies and hyper-focus, often setting elaborate traps or puzzles throughout the home. While meant as defensive measures, these can easily injure unsuspecting bitties or caretakers. Regular trap checks and proper environmental management are necessary to maintain household safety.
Sparrow's teeth are crooked and jagged, making eating difficult and sometimes painful. They may require softened food or direct hand-feeding to eat safely. When not bonded or if starving, they may attempt to eat other bitties or even their caretaker- especially small or slow-moving ones. Supervision during feeding and introductions is mandatory.
Despite the dangers, Sparrow can be a warm, engaging presence. They enjoy praise, companionship, and often seek out soft fabrics to nest in or puzzles to work on. Once bonded, they act like a watchdog, remaining alert even when appearing calm.
Feeding habits: They must be fed soft or finely shredded meat- raw or cooked- as hard foods cause pain due to dental issues. Feeding should be frequent and regular to prevent hunting or stalking behavior. Enrichment toys with food puzzles are helpful, but must be monitored to avoid frustration-induced aggression.
Additional info: Sparrow may chew or gnaw on caretakers and furniture even when not hungry- this is a self-soothing behavior. They respond with soft grunts, purring growls, and chirping noises when content. Muzzles can be used sparingly but often increase anxiety if worn too long.
Zone:Â Inside
In Universe: Caretakers often refer to Sparrow as “the smiling trap-maker.” Considered dangerous but redeemable, they are feared and respected among horror-type bitty circles. Enthusiasts praise their complexity and puzzle-setting talent, though general adopters are warned against housing them with other bitties unless bonded and monitored.
Difficulty: Expert

DreamTale Shattered Dream Butter bitty
Name: Black hole
Dust effects: None! Their goo passively absorbs negative emotions from those around them, leaving others feeling emotionally lighter- but can leave them feeling heavy and tired if not given breaks.
Wing description: Black, viscous wings that appear to drip and reform constantly. The goo clings lightly to surfaces but never leaves permanent residue. When exposed to strong light, faint shimmer-like cosmic glints can be seen swirling in the goop.
Size: 6-7 inches tall
Personality: Brooding, affectionate, tidy, clingy, introspective, patient
Likes: Quiet environments, clean spaces, deep emotional bonds, warm light sources (especially nightlights), long naps in soft fabric
Dislikes: Harsh criticism, chaotic messes, bright sudden light, others bottling up emotions, being left alone too long
Compatibility: They are sticky and goopy by nature, requiring regular cleaning to prevent mess and emotional buildup. Ironically, because of this, they become obsessive about keeping their environment immaculately clean- despite constantly dripping goop. Their presence is comforting but intense, and they tend to fixate on their caretaker’s mood.
They thrive best with calm, emotionally grounded caretakers who enjoy having a quiet companion to help maintain a peaceful atmosphere.
They do poorly in cluttered or emotionally volatile spaces, and may become overwhelmed if not given time to rest after absorbing too many negative feelings.
They bond deeply and tend to latch onto one or two individuals emotionally. They may need gentle reminders to take care of themselves and not overextend their emotional absorption.
Feeding habits: All Butter bitties eat nectar, fruit juices, or honeies!
Additional info: Due to their emotional absorption ability, they should have a space to “drain off” and recover when they’re feeling heavy. This can be as simple as a quiet corner with soft lighting and a plush resting patch.
Zone:Â Inside
In Universe: Considered a “cleansing companion” by some collectors, though their presence can feel intense over long periods.
Difficulty: Advanced
Original Shen Qingqiu (Shen Jiu)
Name: Qingqiu
Size: 8 to 10 inches tall (mini), 1 to 2 ft tall (full size)
Personality: Qingqius are very easily misunderstood, their abrasive and aggressive personality often rubbing people the wrong way. They are proud and ambitious, often working themselves too hard in pursuit of their goal. They are possessive and protective of the things (and people) they consider as theirs, often becoming aggressive if they feel like something of theirs is being stolen away. They are very, very loyal, sometimes to their own detriment.
Qingqius are very smart, often holding others to an impossible standard to keep up to. They often do not bother to defend themselves if they are accused of something malicious, thinking that no one would believe them anyway. Instead they keep to themselves, withdrawing from the situation and trying to keep up appearances.
Likes: being safe, sweet foods, tanghulu, winning fights, being in control, feeling safe
Dislikes: incapable people, broken promises, apologies with no explanation, being accused of things he didn't do, losing fights
Compatibility: Qingqius find it hard to cultivate good relationships with people due to their prickly personality, often leaving them lonely. Specifically, Qingqius do not get along with Binghe types, often feeling jealous of them to the point of attempting to sabatoge them.
Additionally, Qingqius harbor a distrust for males, often feeling safer with women, to the point where he can only sleep when in the presence of them and with no males around.
Feeding habits: Qingqius prefer sweet foods, although they are not particularly picky. They hold a fondness for teas, in which they are picky about.
Additional info: Qingqius can fly on their sword!
Difficulty: intermediate
