— alice was born into a middle-class home in Biloxi, Mississippi, in 1901. Her father was a jeweler and a pearl trader. Alice’s mother tended to their home because her father traveled often. Her mother loved her so and she loved her mother very much.

—   alice was prone to having premonitions of the future since she was a child, though they weren’t always correct. Though she rarely spoke of her power because her mother told her not to because people in town talked a lot especially during her adolescent years. On two occasions, she tried to warn a friend and a cousin with her unfortunate predictions, but they refused to listen and when the predictions came true, she was blamed for cursing them, earning her the epithets of “witch” and “changeling” from the townsfolk.

—   alice had a horrifying vision of her mother being murdered by a stranger. Trying to run after the carriage her mother left in, Alice saw it happen and tried to explained that it was murder, it was declared accidental and her father silenced her.

— within six months, her father remarried a blonde Yankee from Illinois whose father was a promising customer. Alice’s stepmother treated her coldly while making a pet of her sister. Alice suspected that the marriage and her mother’s murder were all planned and carried out by her stepmother. Her father raged at her for suggesting ill of his new wife.

—   then, Alice had a vision of her father and her mother’s killer planning to kill her, revealing the true face of her father.  Alice rushed to the town’s marshal, but her father was already one step ahead of her. He told the townsfolk that his daughter had gone mad, and had her trapped in a mental asylum two counties away.

— while in the asylum, her head was shaved during the threat of typhoid outbreak. She also endured electroshock therapy which rendered her with total amnesia, but it also restored her naturally cheerful and humorous self.

—    a vampire who worked at the asylum befriended Alice and treated her like a daughter. He also frequently visited her with objects hidden in his hands to test her powers, and shielded her from other horrifying treatments as best as he was able.

—   one day, Alice had a vision of a powerful tracker named James coming after her, which occurred the moment he caught her faint scent. She informed the vampire of this, and he planned to escape with her, but Alice still saw James catching up to her, and every option he offered her ended the same way.

—   when he decided to change her, Alice saw that this would be very close, and they might not have enough time. The vampire immediately bit her, took her away and went to distract James, sacrificing himself in the process.

—   when she woke up, the pain of the venom (  along with the fact that she had shocking treatments  )  erased all of her memories . But her premonitions were also intensified .

—    later, she was led to the love of her life, Jasper, after receiving a vision of him, and the pair subsequently joined the peaceful coven of the Cullen family .

—  the rest is history most of you know . she came to forks and while she does love her coven and the family she has built , if jasper ever wanted to leave she would leave with him .

ON THE BACKSTORY: victoria’s backstory remains the same up until the point where her sister and her first coven were murdered by the volturis, but i changed a few things around after that. tw for mentioned sex work.

born as bastards to a noble man in the 1550s, victoria and her sister, anne, learned from a young age to disappear into dark corners. victoria was barely 12 when they ran away, and her older sister started working at a brothel to keep the two of them fed. one day, however, anne disappeared. when victoria realized her sister wasn’t coming back she managed to escape and spent the next couple of years living in the streets of london, learning how to steal and never get caught, getting quicker and smarter.

when victoria was 22, her sister returned in the middle of the night. she had been turned into a vampire, and had spent the past decade learning how to control her bloodlust. she soon turned victoria and introduced her to her coven, hilda, mary and heidi. the last one had attracted the attention of the volturi with her powers, and they soon claimed their coven had been attracting too much human attention. heidi was taken by the volturi and the rest of the coven was massacred. victoria was the only survivor.

so pretty much all is canon with jessica personality wise ( up until a certain point ) :

—  Jessica was born a hybrid . Human mother who died during her birth and vampire father . Much to his surprise he had kept her a secret up until she was 5 to which her growth rate slowed down . He kept in touch with her mother’s side of the family just to have that mundane connection and the love of his life that was cut too short because of him .

—  eventually by the time jessica turned 8 , she found her father dead when she came home from school . His body burning in the woods they lived near by and all she could do is watch as the ashes flew into the wind . Because of what he was , jessica could only call her aunt and tell her that her father disappeared .

—  Jessica’s human family moved her into Forks when she was still a small child, unknown to them in what she was , she knew to simply pretend to be human . she  has always thought of herself as being less provincial than the locals . Coming from the city and moving to a small town , it was a lot of change to adjust to when younger but she still grew to love the small town .

—  despite being well off , growing up jessica’s home life was rather a lonely one . dead parents ,  a neglectful aunt and an uncle who barely notices her , pushed her all the most forward into being top of her class and winning awards . Perhaps then her mundane family would look at her way and maybe tell her about her mother more than what her father knew and pictures .

— lyanna was born as the illegitimate and unrecognized daughter of the first barbarian king of Italy. Her mother, Alma, was a servant in his household who later became his mistress and confidant. After her mother became pregnant, she returned to a farm where her family worked in, where lyanna was born in secret .

—   lyanna was then raised on the farm which was owned and administered by the king’s brother. Her mother was deliberately distant from her, spending much of her time doing what she wanted or leaving the estate at night via carriages. She never participated in work around the estate and appeared to have some other source of income. Adding to her isolation, the other children outside the estate would throw rocks at her, and she was not allowed to leave .

Born with dark hair and dark eyes , unlike the blonde hair of her maternal side . whenever her uncle came to inspect the farm of his estate , lyanna was made to hide until one day she was caught by him . her family was soon brought before him and the king . It was here she realized who her father was . the king who already had a family of his own , his current queen / wife and daughter , who was lyanna’s older sister , saw this as an opportunity . 

—  instead of her half- sister marrying to the much older earl , an arrangement about which both the queen and her half-sister were evidently displeased , lyanna would be the one sent instead . A decision when made aware of it , lyanna was strongly against but in the end forced her to agree to the marriage when the king killed her mother and family in front of her . The reason being hiding his own child from him when it came to the public . Her father making it clear to her that the only reason she was not dead was because her own beauty that surpassed her older sister and body was useful for his political alliance . 

—   lyanna was taught everything expected of a princess before being sent England . she was clever and a quick learner . Lyanna already knew how to read because of her grandfather but pretended not to . being praised in all other aspect , lyanna saw that it would take a month to get to england . Taking this opportunity while traveling she planned her own escape . taking enough money and gold from the dowery her father had sent with her , by the 14th day of their travel , lyanna managed to escape . not caring where she ended up , as long as it was away from italy and her father’s men . 

— lyanna ended up in the greek colonies and boarding an unknown boat in secret . it was here she was discovered by a kind old man , boris ,  who spoke italian . Informing her the boat would take her to russia . Keeping her hidden until they ported , he had took her in and taught her the language and how to live as a russian . she saw more freedom there than in her own land , lyanna made it her home and in turn she was welcomed by boris and his wife , anya ,  whom lyanna took care of when he was away . 

—   over the next few years , when she moved to serbia with boris after his wife died , where boris’ brother and his family lived, lyanna had met aleksei . she didn’t know much about love , but she simply knew he was the one for her . even after discovering what he is, lyanna still loves and trusts aleksei, however, accepting his condition and supporting him. She promises to keep his vampirism a secret and encourages him never to hold back just because of her . Lyanna accepting him for all he is and who he truly is  . 

—   her mortality was soon cut short when aleksei didn’t meet her where they decided to meet up . she knew where he was staying and decided to go to him . that was when she saw the carcass of a very large wolf. seeing aleksei but in the corner of her eyes she noticed a wolf lunge at him and instead of biting him , all  lyanna could remember is her own scream as she used her body to shield her lover and aleksei tearing the chiid of the moon to pieces . 

—  the newly turned child of the moon woke up in his bed .  all her senses heighten . despite the fact that they were now enemies species wise , their bond as mates was now stronger . nothing in the world mattered but him . she was his and he was hers .  learning so much about what she is, lyanna came to learn about the volturi and together with her mate who was now her husband , they were able to keep away from them and anyone who might expose her as a child of the moon .
