How do you guys manage food? Does one of you buy it somewhere or does it just show up in the fridge? Cone to think of it, how do you guys manage money at all? Does one of you keep a record of all your pons? Am I overthinking this?
I’m going to be answering this in the context that they are still orbiting the planet the game takes place on, and thus aren’t home yet.When it comes to food, usually the girls and other residents of the spaceship will help Cooking Cat out with making meals. Food can be brought in from the warp pad, but its not reliable. When it comes to grocery shopping, they just hop down to one of the planet’s areas and go shopping.Pons, though usually counted by the ship itself, are usually one of Tecty’s fortes, as she’s got the braincell to not buy everything shiny (like director like actress, kinda). Goofy Mafia also is good at handling pons, since he used to do finance for the mafia.Cleaning, though. At the beginning of every week, the girls will draw rooms to clean out of a hat (not one of their own, or else the hat’s owner would be accused of cheating). Each girl is tasked to clean up that room (and the side rooms off of those rooms) by the end of the week. The kiddo who did the best job according to CC and Rumbi’s judgement gets to pick out dessert. Y’know, motivation. Though, these kids are competitive enough against each other that they made a scoreboard. Bow has won the most weeks. The kid assigned to the kitchen usually ends up helping CC cook, while the kid assigned to the mail room ends up getting an earful of Goofy Mafia’s conspiracies.Other specific jobs are usually taken up by the crew member on the spaceship that can best do the job.Thank you for reading through all of this! Valence is so fascinating because like he *is* an oppressor in the narrative. Like he's part of the party, he's sent countless queer people to their deaths. But the game goes out of its way to clarify that Valence is *not* an oppressor because he is transmasc Like Valence is built up out of the discourse tm and is almost, *almost* the strawman of a passing privileged trans man and then Valence's ex wife swings the "trans men are the problem" bat and reminds the player that valence is still oppressed for being a trans man. Like thats the One Thing they can oppress him for.
And then people on tumblr read this and go "erm actually that's not what this is about and I will continue to state that trans men are the oppressor class for being men and theyre yucky :("
