That being said, chee's and exist's behavior regarding Eden also needs to be addressed. Tagging Eden's defunct blog when they got to see firsthand how that placed it in danger and throwing a boundary that they were completely fine with to the wind now that the friendship is no more, speaking disparagingly of another victim that because they have a boundary regarding who can interact with a separate doc about their abuser due to safety concerns and discomfort with chee's CSAM joke, expecting their audiences--which are presumably antiship and CSA survivors--to simply get over said joke, and proceeding to smear a fundraiser, an artist, and spread lies that another one of their former friends is a proshipper only to immediately go quiet on all those claims the second anyone rebutts them is the exact same formula Raf and co followed.

It's also deeply ironic that those two view Eden and Oce as being "drama hungry," when they were the ones who started posting discord screenshots out of nowhere. It's one thing to state publicly that you've had a falling out with a few people and won't be reblogging/communicating with them anymore. It is another thing to drag numerous private messages (all of which are probably cropped to hell and back or are incomplete to fit this narrative of E & O being toxic or whatever) into the public eye. It's not like Eden and Oce dipped out of nowhere one day and began reblogging from ISFFlets like cemetery-wolfdog did. Based on whats been published, its clear that these are just snapshots from one of many private conversations that had been had with those two. The screenshots Exist posted of the convo with Oce read very much as a final chance to resolve these issues or to dissolve the friendship peaceably. It's not like Exist or Chee had no choice but to publish screenshots in order to get their attention.

The issue here is not Eden. The issue is that these largely discourse centered communities are built around forming social bonds which are centered around clowning on others, whether it is deserved or not. When interpersonal conflicts arise in these groups, many people split off into camps that side with various individuals to where each camp thinks they're always in the right. The same viciousness that these people commit in the public eye is then turned on one another to solidify group bonds within these camps, as this is what they've been conditioned to bond over when the group was whole. Actually solving problems becomes not even secondary, not even tertiary, hell, not even a priority at all. It becomes about who can get the screenshots published first, it becomes who can get the most notes first, because these are the points that are used to play this sick game and thus what determines who "wins." To the people that build their online identities around these communities and playing this game, "winning" is the only thing they care about. "Winning" is their only friend. That's why all these people are two-faced and backstabbing. The only friend that they've ever had in their entire lives that they know will never leave them is the imaginary version of themselves that their massive egos have cooked up where they are the most perfect little angels in every single situation, and they will drag whomever dares to shatter that image to the court of public opinion regardless of former closeness, mental health concerns, general safety, etc etc.

For whatever reason, a lot of vulnerable people are drawn to these kinds of communities, many who are already severely traumatized or alienated from the outside world, who find a sense of community or validation through these circles. Ultimately these are the people that are ousted and burned at the stake first whenever issues arise, despite so many of these bigger bloggers being all about supporting victims or claiming to care about the safety of others. In normal social groups, it would be understandable that people who are mentally ill would act a little strangely from time to time, and things would be done to confront the person about their behavior, support the person, or even dissolve the friendship if things get too sour. But as I've already laid out, this is not a priority in these discourse communities because these places do not function as friend groups, but rather as content farms for people who wish they were the bully in high school.

Aside from being in the hands of their abusers and/or proship/ISFF circles that want to directly enable abusive and predatory behavior, I'd say one of the most dangerous places for victims to be is in these discourse circles. There is no such thing as a perfect victim, and the second you do anything that disqualifies you from that stereotype in the eyes of discourseblr, you will become the next talking point, the next person they lolcow, the next person with the water filter over your posts.

All I can say is, be careful with who you link up with online.

Definitely block everyone in the doc, but also block the author of the doc as well, how-do-these-people-exist and his bffs strawberrycheesecakehare and suriandtaal. exist and chee decided to not only start spreading bullshit about eden and I being these toxic monsters, but also started smearing SRFR as part of their temper tantrum after we both cut them off. They have zero impulse control, zero fucking emotional regulation skills, and absolutely no respect for victims if yall couldn't already tell from the way they started talking about eden after a private falling out and how they thought they could topple a fundraiser for RAINN because they got their feelings hurt because we had the balls to ask that they try to fix their behavior that was putting themselves and the doc in jeopardy. These motherfuckers are just as hellbent on exploiting victims and turning them into content. Oh, the screenshots I could post, but I won't because I know thats what those two were looking for when they first started posting their own.

Never in my fucking life have I ever dealt with so many snake ass bitches. Yall are clout pimps. You find some of the most vulnerable people who have been abused in the most horrific of ways, feed them all this shit about why you're a reliable advocate (your only credentials are knowing how to take screenshots on your fucking phone, congratulations!), and then when these victims inevitably turn out to be complex people that can fuck up and make mistakes, or god fucking forbid, experience mental health symptoms caused by said abuse, you will hold that over their heads to keep them in line, and if that doesn't work yall will turn your massive ass-kissing audience of dickheads on them to harass them for months on end until they leave the platform. BUT EVEN THAT ISNT ENOUGH FOR YOU!!! YOU NIGGAS GENUINLEY GO AFTER THESE PEOPLE UNTIL THEY KILL THEMSELVES AND THEN YOU MAKE FUN OF THAT!!!!!! You evil motherfuckers are just as morally depraved and abusive as some of the people these victims are trying to escape.

I understand that as a survivor of such abuse, yall already have to deal with a culture that is so comfortable with it and thus totally dismissive of what you went through, even at the legal level. I totally understand why you would end up going to bloggers like britt, raf, sheev, chee, etc, because then at least on a social level you feel like you'll get justice. But I'm telling you right now, as someone who was chill with these people for a while, they don't give a fuck. When they can't get their weird ass drama blog kicks from the predators, then you become the target of ridicule. It is not an if, its a when.

You are not totally hopeless just because some overgrown ass playground bullies masked by savior complexes run this one specific area of the internet. There are people out there that want to help you, that want to find ways to support you, there are so many of us. I need you to understand this. But they're probably not going to be on here. Every single blogger that I know that has genuinely cared about victims or is a victim themselves has been harassed, bullied, and lolcow'd into leaving the platform because they refuse to let these bigger drama blogs step all over them for their own gain. They may not be popular people, they may not even post their advocacy publicly, but they are out there. Yall are worth so much more than whatever these chronically online weirdos claim they can provide for you.

And thats why I'm done with WRO. As someone who was part of this side of tumblr for a good stretch of time, and as someone who frequently reblogged and supported britt, raf, sheev, chee, and exist, I have more than likely directed victims to these incredibly unsafe people. I've played a part in this vicious ecosystem and its why I'm going to stop. Compounding the fact that I was going to be put through a public humiliation ritual by chee and exist shortly after the doc's release for discussions that had been had in private (and that were addressed privately numerous times), I've caused others to be hurt or have directed people to spaces where they have a higher likelihood of being retraumatized. I cannot, in good conscience, continue to participate in a community that rewards this kind of behavior.
