I'm sorry if this has been said before but I don't think we should be using any LGBTQ+ flag with a canton on it such as :
These flags intrinsically label all queer people as part of the rainbow itself, and then they, even if inadvertently, "other" trans people by slapping the trans canton on the hoist side. It's literally saying "this flag represents all queer people... and also transgender people I guess". It isolates the T in LGBT (and also intersex people) as something that isn't actually part of the rainbow, and also makes it easier for TERFs and general "gay republican" types to simply remove the trans canton on the side and just use a rainbow flag. This is why I think that as an all encompassing, all inclusive "LGBTQIA+ Flag", we should be using one of these 3 classic options:
Do we also have an asexual few stripes in the canton? No! Why? Because they're included IN the rainbow, even though only one of the ace flag are in it. Do we also have a genderfluid few stripes in the canton? No! Why? Because they're included IN the rainbow, even though only a couple of the colors of the genderfluid flag are in it.
The rainbow flag doesn't directly represent the colors of every single gender and sexuality flag that there is, and it shouldn't; the rainbow flag represents the CONCEPT of a rainbow, something of multiple different colors, all different, but united and equal as one.
By putting the trans canton on an LGBTQIA+ flag, you are quite literally saying "here's the flag that represents every sexuality and gender; gay people, lesbians, genderqueers, agenders, asexuals, pansexuals, bisexuals etc.... oh, and also transgender and intersex people which are not part of that :) they're on the flag separate from us normal queers"
