Matthew with a full beard as an homage to Carl Morck in his forthcoming Netflix series Department Q 😁 I can't wait to meet Carl and see how Matthew brings him to life. It'a always fascinating to see how he transforms and disappears into a new character, such a chameleon.

I am also 100% there for Matthew's magnificient curls, just a thing of beauty 💙

Reflections Part 2/3

"Carl took a step towards the mirror and ran one finger along his temple where the bullet had grazed his head. The wound had healed, but the scar was clearly visible under his hair, if anyone cared to look. But who the hell would want to do that? he thought as he studied his face. It was obvious now that he had changed. The furrows around his mouth were deeper, the shadows under his eyes were darker, and his expression showed a profound indifference. Carl Mørck was no longer himself, the experienced criminal detective who lived and breathed for his work. No longer the tall, elegant man from Jutland who caused eyebrows to raise and lips to part. And what the hell did it matter anyway?"

This is the opening line of "Mercy", Book 1 of Department Q by Jussi Adler-Olsen. I hope this will also be the first frame of Netflix Department Q series, what a wonderfully cinematic way it would be of meeting Carl!

This has inspired me to look back at Matthew Goode and his reflections.

The thing is I bought this book again in a Thrift store without realising it was the same. It was second handed and the price was 3 Euros and seemed interesting enough so I purchased it. In my defense they had different book covers and I didn't remember the sinopsis.

Today I was relocating my books and find this out. I don't know what to do with this now.

On another note, is it good? Any fandom of this book here in tumblr?

Gerald thinks he can make a move at last after Juliana and him went through a bonding experience together but nope.

As for Ben, it was probably a mistake to tell his depressed wife to get her 'sh!t together'.

I Love the "flouncing off the room" jig at the end 🤣, I bet that's a Matthew move, he also did it in Silent Night.
