actually thinking abt how rocky fell asleep so quickly after meeting grace. he decided to trust this new alien immediately to watch over him. he'd gone almost 50 years without anyone to watch him sleep and the moment he had grace he immediately trusted him

i feel like a lot of being disabled is just trying to find things that are stimulating and within your energy levels that dont include staring at a screen for 10 hours straight and only being able to like. read a book. and nothing else.

i honestly do dislike the whole "rocky is graces dog" and "grace is rockys dog" bc it dismisses the fact that theyre equals and one is not above the other but ☝️ i do still think they have moments where their brains associate them with some other creature-like behavior thats cute to them and they tease each other with it. rocky the brilliant engineer sits like a cat and grace the intelligent scientist sounds like a pebble when whistling. do you understand

grace looks at rocky with so much love and adoration in his eyes and is obsessed with rocky to the point of thinking abt him all the time and praising him constantly and for some reason ppl use this to say that "they cant be just friends" and like if thats your idea of what friendship is and cant be then you have a very sad and limited view on friendship
