My personal favorites are... very different..

I ADORE birds of paradise, namely macaws. They're so gorgeous and smart and just bird icons tbh ✨️

And then...

Uh...

✨️ Turkeys ✨️

Okay hear me out though, I've owned several over the past few years and currently have four, and they are just the sweetest things.

They're actually surprisingly affectionate- almost like bird dogs.

....but they're very stupid... so stupid infact that one of the breeds I have, called a Royal Palm, is actually considered an endangered variety.

The main reason their numbers are dwindling?

They keep accidentally killing themselves 😭😭😭

But still i love them and they're amazing <3

I wanna make that clear. I don’t hate transmascs. I don’t hate cis women. Hell, I don’t even hate cis men, at least not as a rule.

I think everyone, especially my queer siblings of all types, have so much to offer to the world and are beautiful and infinitely valuable.

What I DO hate is being shouted over. What I DO hate is being ignored. What I hate is people hearing me say “I am affected by issues no other group has to face” and being met with “So does everyone, you’re not special, stop ruining everything for our community.”

I have seen my fellow transfems trampled under foot again and again and again and again. By everyone. We are excluded from public life, communities, support, everything. We are hounded out of friend groups, communities, public forums, any place we can be. Because when you identify a TME person as your enemy, there’s not much you can do. But TMA people have no power to fight back. The odds are stacked against us already. Anyone can punish us for any sin they perceive us as committing and we have no recourse.
