I wanna write some positive things I LOVED about GO3! (Did end up just pointing out stuff near the end.... wrote all this while on my second watch....)
-Despite it not being what we 100% wanted. We can not talk down on David Tennents and Micheal Sheen's performances, they are EXCILLENT ACTORS and played these characters so well! And everyone else! Sad to see them go but they did a hell of a job playing them!
-Crowley taking really good care of the book shop. He gave up his last true possession to save the place and after that kept it safe. Yet he never dared to sleep inside. Memories perhaps too strong.
-Aziraphale turning the tables and saving Crowley rather than Crowley saving him! He's so funny when he's trying to be intimidating. He was so clever during that entire scene. Also with Crowley scarily watching in the background, despite him not being the threat. But Aziraphales stupid silly puzzle brain. HE DIDNT EVEN LIKE CHANGE THE PUZZLE OR RIG THE OTHER GUYS. HE WON FAIR AND SQUARE. ITS HILARIOUS
-Also Aziraphale David Bowie fan? Even Crowley was surprised by this
-THE FUN VISUALS they were oh so charming and very whimsy. Loved when they were used.
-"We need to get a wiggle on" never change aziraphale. Well.
-Not aziraphale having zero plan, he just wanted crowley back. His thought process was, "well great, Jesus is missing, I have no idea where he could've gone... I must go get my boyfriend first"
-"I just wanted to save everything, and so that everybody could have a chance, including us."
Oh man. Oh what foreshadowing. In a way he got what he wanted.... but..I.
- I was so glad to see Muriel again! Her perfect silly self! She actually figured out who had done everything and I'm very proud of her.
- Crowleys constant bickering with Aziraphale, rightfully upset with him, but he still follows him about like a dog. Like Muriel said, he was lost without him.
-I still gotta draw Crowleys angel disguise, it's a rlly good coustume
-Although it took me a while to understand, the whole robbing of the book of life was really clever! It was taken and the page that displayed the theft was simply removed. And because now no one was technically there to be seen taking it, It just vanishes! What a tricky loophole
-I also enjoy them using the book of life as a threat this season.(as it was previously mentioned) It felt like an actual threat against Aziraphale and Crowley. Now I at first thought that Aziraphale was going to be that second archangel to be murdered. But I just remembered he's SUPREME archangel. So that confusion was on my part.
-This episode really did make me laugh, one thing good omens doesn't fail at is making me laugh.
-MAN AZIRAPHALE IS REALLY GOOD AT DISGUISES, first crowley and now a demon, his over the top-ness really played in his favor here.
-NOT CROWLEY CONSTANTING ORDERING FOOD FOR AZIRAPHALE. LIKE DOES THIS FREAK LIKE WATCHING HIM EAT??? CAUSE IT SURE SEEMS LIKE IT. But it's also really cute. He may be salty but he knows how to tempt his man.
-Eric and Murial being silly together
-genderless toxi yuri?
-Micheal was honestly a great twist villain. They are a really good "too enthusiastic about their job" villain like Scarab from fiona and cake. P
-IM SO GLAD THEY USED QUEEN AGAIN although I think they could've used any other love song than best friend at the end credits....
-THE ENTIRE SCENE OF THEM FLYING IN THE BENTLY IS INCREDIBLE THE LIGHTS REFLECTING OFF IT WAS JUST, I LOVED IT
-although I think Jesus was very underutilized. I think the scene of him passing around the pizza was what he was ment to do. He followed Aziraphales plan and brought happiness and joy, bringing closure to some and reminding others of love. Now that would've ment somthing if they weren't all destroyed..destroyed ..
- "Come to me those who are lost, for you shall find your way home" in a way, Jesus met Crowley and found him, in finding him, Crowley no longer became lost, because Aziraphale showed up.
-More of a question but what did Micheal do when they whispered Armageddon? Did they put it into the book of life? Was this all planned from the start and the erasure of the universe was Armageddon?
-ALSO ITS SO FUNNY NOW HELL HAS NEVER BEEN ABLE TO ACTUALLY FIGHT LIKE NO ONE HAS REALLY TRUELY FOUGHT AGAINST HEAVEN. WHATS HER FACE FROM LAST SEASON GOT THE CLOSEST BUT SHE MAINLY FOUGHT AZIRAPHALE AND THOSE IN THE BOOKSHOP
-"I never really seem to get much of a go" HE EVEN KNOWS IM SO SORRY JOSH
-ough not aziraphale forgiving micheal, buddy you know that hasn't worked in the past. And them not forgiving themselves? Honestly a bit sad.
-Altough I wish Crowley really talked with aziraphale and told him why he didn't really forgive him. I think after being with him again after so long, he did forgive him. He just was stubborn about it in this scene. But a nice proper conversation that led to a nice calm heartfelt forgiveness would've been nice
-The reversal of roles. Is a tad odd but I like it. Aziraphale claiming that they are together in the book shop now, alone unfortunately. And Crowley now being the one pointing out that there's nothing, and that everything is gone. Idk I think its like they see each others perspective now
-Aziraphale and his stupid pen collection.
-Im a tad confused on how they were able to just make the book of life. But I guess when your book store is the entire universe, you have more power than before. Still cosmicly confusing and I like it.
-Crowley finally asking the question! Why make humans if your going to punish them for being humans! Why controll them, influence them if it doesn't matter!
- OH MY GOD. litterally. SHE IS THE LADY. SHE IS THE LADY NOBODY FINDS, SHE IS THE UNOBTAINABLE. AND IN ISNT IT IN THE FIRST EPISODE WHERE THEY CLAIM GOD IS LIKE A GAME OF CARDS!??!?! IF SO THATS AN INSANE END TIED.
-EXACTLY AZIRAPHALE "you say that as if it negates me wanting to do the right thing" HE CAN ENJOY EARTHLY PLEASURES AND WANT TO SAVE EVERYONE
-Aziraphale was truly a good angel. Because he had all these "sinful" or humanly traits like laziness and gluttony, he understood them more. He was able to truly help. My goodness
-AND CROWLEY.... WAAAAA HE WAS THE BEST ANGEL, HE CARED SO MUCH THAT THEY PUNISHED HIM FOR IT, AND INSTEAD OF CONFORMING, HE FOUGHT TO BE A TRUE ANGEL, TO CREATE FREELY
-my god she really did plan this all.
- "You were able to value what most people never even know they have" what, love? I can see this yes. Actually. Yes. He didn't need a human label, or anything offical. He loved him, and he stood by his side since the creation of life.
- I do enjoy how God isn't straight forward. She's mysterious and always seems like she knows more, well that's because she does, she's God. It's like she's playing with them. So odd, I love her.
-Although we as viewers wanted everything to go back as normal. It wouldn't fix anything, heaven and hell would still be in place, the non stop loom of their influence, the constant threat of ammegedon. It really was the right choice to remove all of it.
-ALSO OUGHHHH THE GARDEN BOOK STORE ITS SO PREEETYYYY
- "I only want one thing, but that's not what this is about anymore" NOOOOO HES JUST WANTS CROWLEEYYYY BUT BUT
-This entire scene is heart breaking. They know what they must do and it kills me. I really thought there would be a twist. Where they get to still be eachother in this new universe.
But its the end to this book. Nothing we close the last page and reach the hard cover. We say goodbye. As we end in the garden.
