The saddest Jesus figure ☹️

We unite ourselves a comfortor eternally

untied ties litter the floor with ramen packets

synchronized swimmers around them, eaten dry

or sheep and stars in a circle hung-over. Birds

at every hour, late and later like marriage bells

a metallic circut-board cheeping “I do”

and the response: a snore. Blanketed+ confined:

an owl and a morning chickadee. Linked by litter

on the floor, dusty hoarded plates, trinkets

just messy enough to seem purposeless.

a pigeon’s nest and crow’s nagging caw,

mechanical pencils with the erasers missing;

my long-lost sunrise and its leaded sunset.

Dinner and breakfast together— dusk inbetween.
