               HIS  SENTIMENT  IS  touching  in  a  way  she  cannot  seem  to  relate.  he  wants  answers,  she  can  see  that  much,  but  the  motivation  of  his  cause  is  not  met  with  the  same  empathy  from  her  side  of  the  spectrum.  she  knows  that  it’s  an  okay  feeling,  to  not  relate  but  she  feels  a  twinge  of  guilt  nonetheless.  ashley  was  a  friend  that  she  left  behind.  no  matter  how  often  she  tells  herself  that  it  was  a  choice  that  had  to  be  made,  her  voice  haunts  her  among  many  others.      “  so  what’s  the  verdict?  ”        she  chirps  up,  leaving  behind  all  those  thoughts  of  guilt  and  loss  behind.  she  continues  to  push  it  down  if  only  to  bury  it  until  she  has  the  time  to  deal  with  it.    (  but,  that’s  the  kicker,  she  never  has  time  to  deal  with  her  own  feelings  and  troubles.  )      “  you  find  what  you  were  looking  for  or  are  you  still  searching?  ”      she  almost  doesn’t  want  him  to  answer.  the  idea  of  some  benevolent  being  having  the  control  of  an  entire  universe  places  a  sort  of  anxiety  in  her  chest.  she’s  okay  with  there  being  nothing  past  the  stars.

Don’t remember where I saw this but there was a concept for a biotech izuku that breated  fire, so here.

         arms fold over her slender chest, eyes skimming over the small workspace he’s managed to carve out for himself amidst the clamor of the ship. “you settling in ok, alenko? just thought i’d swing by for a chat.” 

❝  ARE  YOU  KIDDING  ME  ?  ❞  cerberus  forces  are  overwhelming  ,  but  that’s  no  excuse  ;  that’s  no  reason  for  garrus  to  leave  kaidan  ,  alone  ,  covering  their  retreat  ,  a  frantic  final  push  as  they  head  for  the  shuttle  .  with  shepard  in  the  middle  of  downloading  CRUCIAL  files  ,  it’s  up  to  them  to  lay  suppressing  fire  and  keep  the  enemy  at  bay  .  one  more  minute  .  two  more  minutes  .  just  a  few  more  minutes  until  they  can  go  .  garrus  grabs  a  heat  sink  from  a  stack  of  boxes  nearby  and  hastily  reloads  his  assault  rifle  from  behind  cover  .  ❝  i’m  not  going  anywhere  ,  alenko  !!  this  is  no  time  for  you  to  play  hero  !!  ❞  he  fires  a  concussive  shot  at  a  cerberus  engineer  in  the  distance  ,  disrupting  the  set-up  of  another  turret  .  garrus  glances  at  kaidan  to  his  left  — —  his  mandibles  flare  .  ❝  where  are  those  biotics  of  yours  ?  let’s  show  them  what  we’ve  got  .  ❞
