 Landscape is a hierarchical idea. Elevation of human over environment. Land at service of man. Landscape as a looking at nature. Pastoral as a being in nature. From spectatorship to participation.

 "a new kind of biocentric performance might dissolve th boundaries between performer and spectator to produce participants in ecologically responsive action which recognises and embraces complexity in the agency of environments" (80). Performance based on participation, versus theater based on spectatorship, will revise/invent good nature conceptions, versus replay bad nature conceptions/tropes.

Goddamn itâs like every time I log on now. I donât even have to look for it! Shit itâs EVERYWHERE! Iâm trying to run away and itâs gnawing on my ankles! The fuck is up with people being ungodly biocentric and throwing around adoption like it doesnât matter? Itâs a bigger deal than that. Like what the hell. Shut up. Shut your face. Yes itâs offensive. I donât care if your cousin adopted because that does not make you an expert. These things can offend adoptees and shit, guess what? JUST TRY IMAGINING HEARING THESE THINGS. And weâre not all little Annies, Anne of Green Gables, and super happy Pollyannas playing the MOTHER FUCKING GLAD GAME about why weâre adopted. Weâre individuals. Stop. Some of us are really touchy. Some of us are moderately touchy. Some of us are willing to make jokes about our circumstances. Thing is, I wouldnât do jokes with a bunch of fuckwits who canât seem to understand the entire topic is a very, very heavy thing. A topic needing some care and understanding to speak of. Care that Iâve seen only actual adopted people seem to grasp.
Also, scientists don't like the notion that consciousness creates the universe instead of vice versa because that leads to the ipso facto of an initial consciousness, the big G, being the prime unmover. Since mainstream science can never touch such a concept it will never be accepted regardless of the evidence. I literally had a classmate argue that no one can prove that cigarettes cause lung cancer and that only a correlation can be stated - which is technically true but commonly sensily stupid. I tried explaining to him that our calculations on time-varying currents require complex math that's build upon the sqrt(-1) which isn't real and uses an imaginary dimension that uses magic math to explain something in the really real world and since all frequency bound waves follow this naturally then right there is proof of unseen designs that govern the actual universe. meh. meh.
