“I mean what else can we expect from someone who thinks “binary” trans women oppress tme nb people on the basis of gender.” x
@crunchyslime I want you to look up Blaire White. Here, since you can’t be bothered to give a second of your day to listen to nonbinary voices, I’ll do it for you.
“Blaire White (September 14, 1993–) is a YouTube talker who at one time described herself as a "transgender conservative commentator".Her YouTube channel description previously stated that she "create[s] videos making fun of ideologues and cultural marxism", but now simply says that she is "your problematic fav". In practice, White's videos either attack "SJW" YouTubers or defend antifeminist talking points or right-wing positions on trans issues and women's rights despite being trans and a woman herself. […]
“White firmly believes that there are only two genders and has at one point called non-binary gender identities "trans-r_t_rd_d". […] White has described nonbinary people as having "injected themselves" into the trans community, and asserts that they are not really trans. She has several times complained that dysphoric people like her are considered to be the "same thing" as nonbinary people, on account of being both under the transgender umbrella. Nobody is saying this, and her complaint has no more basis than asserting that two people represented by different LGBTQ letters are considered the "same thing" as each other.”
No, being a trans woman does not make a person immune to being an exorsexist piece of garbage like yourself. Trans women can be as awful to nonbinary people as cis men. And THIS DOESN’T FUCKING MEAN THAT TME ENBIES ARE MORE OPPRESSED THAN TRANS WOMEN. It never meant that. Get it out of your head that (a) this is the Oppression Olympics and (b) oppression is a linear, one-way course. People can oppress one another in various forms and in various degrees. Think about how women tell abused/mentally ill men that they can’t be abused/mentally ill and need to “man up”: that’s an example of oppression from women toward men, despite men being ultimately more oppressive toward women. Obviously TME people are privileged and treat trans AMAB people like shit.
Saying that trans women can be exorsexist doesn’t mean that no nonbinary person oppresses trans women.
"binaryphobic" but "anti-exclusionary"... look i dont wanna be mean but how does that work for you
I'm binaryphobic because of how the world views gender and sex, and how I don't fit those standards as a nonbinary trans person
I'm also binaryphobic because of how people view sexuality as some rigid, binary system where you have to "pick a side"
Me hating exclusionists doesn't negate that, it actually reinforces it a little tbh
'"Binaryphobia" is transmisogynistic. Say "cis people," not "binary people"! Trans women can't and don't hurt you!'
....
Trans women are not immune to being exorsexist just because of their status as trans women. They can be exorsexist toward any nonbinary person of any AGAB. When we talk of binary privilege, we are not saying that all nonbinary people are below all binary people. Observe this diagram that disregards other factors such as abledness, race, and wealth:
AFAB trans people are tolerated more than AMAB people. See how nonbinary people of each assigned group are still below their binary counterparts? That's what we're talking about. The "BiNaRyPhObiA" part comes in as a joke along the lines of cisphobia. TME nonbinary people sometimes get slammed by trans women. But, again, trans women are more oppressed than TME enbies. While varying forms and degrees of prejudice are exchanged between the two, TME enbies are inherently oppressors to trans women and not the other way around.
Being angry with binary people isn't transmisogyny. Being angry with trans woman who -- just like trans men and cis people -- are exorsexist is not transmisogyny. We are not targeting and singling out trans women specifically. Don't you dare try to silence your siblings outside of the binary who are sick and tired of your shit.
Cis people have an inherent degree of transphobia (as do trans people, though it's usually less, due to the nature of our surrounding society). TME have an inherent degree of transmisogyny (as do non-TME, though it's usually less). Binary people have an inherent degree of ceterophobia (as do nonbinary people, though it's usually less).
The "binaryphobia" thing is the nonbinary-specific identical to "cisphobia" and "heterophobia". Queer people are allowed to be angry with and poke fun at their oppressors. YOU, as a queer individual, may not like doing that, and that's fine. But it is NOT okay for you to silence the rest of us.

"How dare you lump trans women/men with their oppressors, the cis people?"
Oh, you mean the same argument transphobic LGB, truscum, aspec exclusionists, and bi/pan exclusionists use?
- "How dare you lump cis LGB with their oppressors, the cishets?"
- "How dare you lump Real Transes with their oppressers, the cis people?"
- "How dare you lump Actually Queer People with their oppressors, the cishets?"
- "How dare you lump gays and lesbians with their oppressors, straight people?"
exorsexism? in my lgbt+/queer spaces?
it's more likely than you think
alright
it's taken me far too long to realize this and I apologize for my previous posts about "binaryphobia" in the context of privilege and gender because regardless of my personal idea of what that means, it just doesn't apply to binary trans ppl especially not trans women
(I'm not going to pretend I never made those posts so I'm not deleting them, but moving forward I won't use that term and I highly encourage other tme nonbinary individuals to also not use this term)
this next part is mostly me thinking out loud tbh and a reminder to myself
exorsexism (and binarism) stems from how binary cisnormative society is, and again from how cisnormative society views men and women to be the only opposite, binary genders to exist
cisnormative society does not view trans women as part of either gender, denies the gender of trans men, and is varied to say the least on how it views nonbinary ppl; and this is an extremely simplified summary that doesn't include intersex trans specifics because that on its own is an incredibly nuanced and complicated experience that is rightfully its own issue
basically, my problem was never and shouldn't be with other genders, it all literally comes back to cis ppl, cissexism, binarism (which anyone can perpetuate) and exorsexism
dont reblog this pls and fellow tme ppl dont derail at all
