GUYS, GUYS, THIS IS NOT A DRILL!
ONE OF MY RELATIVES GOT ME..
A NIKO PLUSH!!!!!
(A bootleg one, that is, BUT I LOVE THEM ANYWAY!!!!!)
LOOOK AT THEMMMM!!1!1
Their clothes are all the wrong colour.
Their hat too big for they goddamn them. (/ref)
Their hat droops down the back.
They can’t sit up straight.
They aren’t wearing pants. (I’m creeped out by it too, don’t worry)
AND I LOVE THEM1!!1!1!1!
I’ve named them “Biko”!
They’re like the Togore to Niko’s Chara.
They are the first ever plushie I’ve ever had that’s been related to any of my fandoms.
Once I get an official Niko plush, they’re probably gonna play pretend together and have tea parties.
(or they’ll fight to the death, ya know, either/or)
Biko Pegasus in Uma Musume Anime(Season 2 Episode 1)
Biko was released as a single in August 1980, making it the third single from Peter’s third solo album. For the release the song re-recorded and re-mixed at Crescent Studios, Bath.
"The process began with a rhythm which was programmed onto the world’s first drum machine which was, for electronic enthusiasts, called PAiA. Then I wanted to keep something super simple so that the focus would be on the words. The scream at the beginning, which was from the remarkable David Ferguson (David Rhodes’ former bandmate in Random Hold), set up the mood beautifully followed by David’s crashing guitar chords. I was also wanting to create a chant at the end that might be uplifting and rousing and be useful for the anti-apartheid campaign."
Songlines asked Peter why the song was chosen as a single, for their recent article on the song, "I don’t remember,” he replied, "but I suspect we wanted it as a stand-alone item that lived in its own world.”
