mornings with simon 😼

the pan popped and sizzled as you watched the eggs cook. it was early in the morning, both you and simon were off work so you wanted to make breakfast for the two of you.

“g’mornin’, princess.” a deep and gravelly voice came from behind you, two muscular arms wrapping around your middle as the man engulfed you.

“morning, si” you mumbled, turning your head to give him a kiss on the cheek. “how’d you sleep?”

simon’s jaw rested on your shoulder, kissing up and down the flesh as he mumbled. “slept good, ‘s nice to have you next t’me.” he said, gliding his hands up and down your soft thighs, the skin exposed from your tiny sleep shorts.

“whatcha makin’?” he mumbled into your collarbone, stubble scratching your shoulder blades. “eggs, the bacon’s already cooked if you want some now.” you told him, pointing your spatula to the pan of bacon sitting atop your stove.

simon reached forward, grabbing a piece of meat and chewing it as he hunched over you still. you flipped your eggs in the pan, letting the sides cook evenly.

“y’sleep well? you were moving ‘round lots” he asked, warm breath tickling your neck. “yea, it was kinda cold in the room.” you replied. “can you grab me two plates please?” you asked, turning the heat off the stove.

“angel, if you’re cold y’know you can just come cuddle on me, yeah?” he told you, grabbing two clean plates and placing them on the counter. “sounds good baby.” you smile, pecking him on the lips as you served the food on your plates.

“thank you for this, princess.” simon’s morning voice was still gruff. “you’re very welcome.” you replied, taking your plate to the table while simon trailed behind you.

after you sat, simon placed a small kiss atop your head before sitting across from you.

idk how to end this but they ate their food and probably cracked while simon did the dishes idfk
