(link)... Only the intersex part is canon, to be clear. While this request was made with reclaimatory (and slightly joking) intent, Pat has been commonly referred to with the H-slur in the past, the creator of the character has explicitly stated they aren't transgender, and their gender is kept ambiguous; which unfortunately is used mostly as a plot device for comedy.
