2021/3/22 family-style로 만들어본 비빔밥, 그리고 연어 요리. 고추장 넣고, 계란 후라이를 조각 조각 부수고.. 비벼주니 꼬맹이 열광하며 먹는다. 다음날에도 비빔밥 해줘야했다는 일화가... 이렇게 손많이 가는 요리 너무 좋아해주면 곤란하다고...

Tofu house
This little Korean place is located in a square off of 44th in Lynnwood. So it is very easy to find, except the name on the sign doesn’t match the name online. So it was hard to figure out which restaurant it was. But always free parking available, so a great lunch spot.
The exterior is a little run down looking, and the inside is pretty average. But our seats had rips in them. So I could tell it was an old place that hasn’t been upgraded in a while.
I liked that they had one TV with Koran TV on it. I love when I go to a restaurant and it transports me somewhere. I wish there was more of that here.
The menu covered all the important things you would want at a Koran place. And the prices were on the average side. They also had bubble tea here.
The food plating was nice, but nothing original. Just homey and clean . The food tasted ok. Of course you get your Kim chi with your order. The seafood pancake was ok but my pork belly was a little flavorless. I kind of wish the flavor on everything was bumped up more. Otherwise it tasted fresh.
When we entered we were seated right away, but then it seemed the waitress was too overwhelmed because we were forgotten. Our food didn’t come out all at once and my tea wasn’t refilled. My friends bubble tea they forgot but they never came to check up on us so we had to chase our waitress down to remind her. We pretty much had to catch her to remind her about refills and water and check. So overall it was an ok lunch spot, but it could have been a better experience.

I had Korean barbeque that day at the Koreatown in Shanghai. Their jajangmyeon was delicious and I had their sweet rice cakes as well as bibimbop.

한국에서 가족들과 함께 보낸 추석. 덕분에 엄마의 나물밥 원없이 먹었습니다. 심지어 두부는 동생이 두부 만드는 기계로 손수 만든. mom’s bibimbap is the best!
