Differentiating the mizukis has always been my evilest design challenge. Swap doesn’t have to play pretend with the audience for the twist, so we’re allowed to differentiate them further

I like making them take after their respective parents, but that gets tricky- Boss has a short jacket, so bibi’s could be shorter, but at the same time masked woman’s design shows a preference for long clothing. ai1 mizuki has one big ponytail, so maybe mizuki keeps that? But Bibi’s endgame design has a long ponytail. you Really Can’t Win.

The thing I realized and went ham with for this design is that Mizuki Date is rich and also cares more about her appearance/how others perceive her. she was made into a CEO at 12! (this also plays really well with how Saito’s her dad in swap. He Knows the power of appearances and how to be respected) So Mizuki Date dresses nicer and cares about everything looking good, meanwhile Bibi.

I like to play with Bibi having some hoarding traits/tendencies from her upbringing (and living with boss. we’ve all seen her office i know her house is crazy) She’s attached to her things and does Not like getting rid of them. so all her clothing is really worn and should probably be replaced but it’s important to her!!!!

And her mom is boss so she’s allowed to wear whatever the hell she wants to work. and she wants to wear all that
