The bug: After the "dream meeting" with Gale in Act 2 (the one his holo-projection invites you to), Gale may no longer fast travel with you, or even go to and from camp with you.

The solution: Dismiss Gale BEFORE the hologram appears, and recruit him again the next day. This may mean saving every time in Act 2 before ending the day until his hologram appears, or simply removing him from the party before ending the day.

I abandoned my playthrough last time I got this bug, then got it AGAIN on the very next playthrough, but thought, "Hm... let me try something..." It was just a hunch, but it worked.

You are seeing what I am seeing, right?

HE DID LOOK AT ME US FOR ONE HEARTBEAT! He broke the fourth wall! I am normal and sane obv!

When I was recording that kiss was I spending a significant amount of time (I think more than an hour) trying to capture the perfect kiss with Baldur’s Gate in our backs for scenery (I just looove Wyrm’s lookout for that) – I am playing on console without photo mode, so if I spot a scenic background that I want to use for kiss footage do I have to do a lot of trial and error recordings of kisses until I get an angle that works. Obviously kissing Gale is my favourite past time in that game, so I’ll manage :D

I have noticed that we get several (read many) different randomised micro-facial movements, huffs and smiles and looks to Tav in the kisses but never before has he turned away from Tav to break the fourth wall.

I was wondering if maybe that is just an easter egg/ joke from the devs – if you spend a certain amount of time in a row to kiss Gale will he look “at you”/ “at the camera” and be like “I know that you’re there. You’re enjoying this, aren’t you? Here we go again ^^”

Or it’s just an odd bug that occurred there for me. I checked my other recordings of that same kiss in different locations and have not found this “glitch”/ bug/ blessing from above again.

My entire party got stuck T posing during the trip through Illithid colony in act 2. They literally floated across the ground t-posing. It was horrifying.
