Go my timeline of events:

Coiny goes missing sometime after BFDIA concludes. He'd gone into the evil forest to look for something and never returned (fell and hit his head, got disoriented)

As he's in the forest, he learns to defend himself and becomes much smarter than he was before, finding things the contestants have left behind (More importantly: an academic book left behind by Golf Ball.)

In the ~5 years he's alone out there, he learns how to build things. Mechanical engineering type things.

Towards the split in BFB, he finally finds his way to goiky. back to everyone, as seen here.

He leaves, finds the old Leafy Detector, and rewires it to be a remote. and while Four and Two are arguing over the contestants, he strikes.

First, Coiny rigs the hotel to be a prison. All windows are blocked off, all doors are blocked off, etc.

Then this box traps the algebrailians in Overstimulation Torture Nexus

And then he scares all of the contestants into the hotel and locks them all in, and after a few days, he seperates the new BFB contestants from the og BFDI - BFDIA contestants
