No to dziś Beverly Pepper – urodzona 20 grudnia 1922 roku artystka, która potrafiła przemówić przy pomocy kilkutonowych konstrukcji. Była jedną z niewielu kobiet działających w obszarze monumentalnej rzeźby już od lat 60. i zdecydowanie zostawiła po sobie trwały ślad – zarówno w sztuce, jak i w dosłownym krajobrazie różnych miast.
