the kid huffed, leaning over the table of max tennysonâs camper, left hand jutted out as he stared down the black and green watch. it looked like it wasnât stuck on his skin, yet nothing about it moved. youâd think it was uncomfortable, but it wasnât. after all, it wasnât an extension about it. âben.â he started, tearing his eyes from the hourglass on its glowing face to stare up at green eyes. âhey, ben. what was your school like? boring?â he asked, still not knowing too much about the other.Â
he wanted to learn more about ben, they got along well ( and watching him bicker with gwen proved to be entertaining - when his brain wasnât grappling with the fact he still needed a name or there were now ten aliens he could become ) and he called his mom when he could on their trip. things got a little easier, but always winced when calling. heâd figure out something soon.Â
