A simple gesture from Eric on stage, but it shows how he always makes sure his group stays together in all cases & in whatever situation. It reminded me of Minwoo’s quote .. when Shinhwa became estranged & were drifting apart from each other, it was Eric who brought them together again. We’re really lucky to have such wonderful leader. Thank you Eric ♥ 

Eric: We don’t really care about being first place on music shows and being popular anymore. Although we are merely entertainers who act cute on TV or onstage in front of an audience, if the way we as individuals or as Shinhwa lived, or the stories we tell you directly or indirectly can pull you fans towards good, and later when you become great people, if we can see interviews in the future saying that I used to like a singer named Shinhwa when I was little and the things they said, the promises they made and their methods stimulated me and that made me the person I am now, that’s what I believe would make us feel we really succeeded. Real success comes when you can make your fans feel responsibility, and when you can lead them towards the right path. Please help Shinhwa succeed in this way. We will lead you to good roads the best we can, and we will work hard as entertainers, our main job, so that we can make you happy when you are down.”

Thank you Eric for protecting Shinhwa for 21+ years & beyond. Thank you for choosing Shinhwa over money & popularity. He, who rejected a hefty solo contract that was impossible to reject & took his group to a newbie company where the all members get equal shares & stay together. He, who’s the reason why Shinhwa were able to keep the group’s name after switching companies, when he paid an immense sum of his own money to SM to buy the group’s name rights & even studied law when he filed a lawsuit against SM to retain “Shinhwa” name & personally financed the lawsuit from his own money again. & For 12 years, he fought SM until Shinhwa completely won.  He who splits his own personal shares from his solo work with the members and supports their work and efforts for pizza in return.  He, who said “my greatest wish is to be known as Shinhwa & to be called as “Shinhwa””. And with everything he does for Shinhwa & for us, he remains the humble Eric Moon, who stands away from the limelight, happily giving it to the other members, while leading the group from the back. Thank you Eric for everything you’ve done & been doing for Shinhwa & for us. Thank you for always putting Shinhwa as ur top priority. and now, he’s turning 40 & Shinhwa is still going strong as he said. He was only 23 yrs old when he was answering the questions with such great determination. This was an interview after his massive popularity from the drama “Firebird” & still, he put the group at the top instead of mentioning a solo career. Shinhwa is his no.1 .. always have, always will. Happiest birthday our dependable leader ♥

Don’t we all wish to have such caring friend in our lives?! Hyesung, who went back home after a long tiring day & found delicious food, cooked by his friend, in front of his door. Eric who knew his friend would be so tried after practicing for his solo concert so he cooked & brought food to his friend & didn’t even forget the dessert. Such soo sweet gesture from Eric to his neighbor ♥♥ really friendship goals. & even when he’s married, Eric always takes good care of Hyesungie :)) 

This is amazing! Eric’s sincere love,loyalty and devotion for Shinhwa and for the members leaves me speechless! We’re really lucky that we have such man as the leader of Shinhwa. He has done so much & went through a lot for the sake of his group. We have Shinhwa today thanks to him. “Being known as Shinhwa is my greatest achievement.” Shinhwa is his everything & the members are his brothers with him being the only son in his family.  Thank you Eric for all what you’ve done for Shinhwa & for us, SHCJ.
