Today, I decided to go makeup free, both because I had no time to do so and there’s really no point in applying makeup to go out only once for a final exam and then come home to remove it all. 👁💄 I was curious to see if people would treat me differently, especially those I don’t see very often. Somewhat surprisingly, everybody treated me the same way. 🤷🏻♀️ I’m really grateful to be surrounded by people who look beyond the surface and don’t think twice about judging someone based on exterior. Sure, I might not have looked as presentable, but I realize that it’s absolutely fine to choose to be a little lazy with your appearance! Ultimately, you have to dress to impress YOURSELF and not others. 👍💃🏻 I personally think I look better with makeup, but there’s not such a huge difference. I still try to love myself either way, and if you wear makeup regularly, you should too! ☺️💞 Pictured is a bowl of cauliflower spinach rice with a @boca.burger vegan veggie patty: basically how I make vegetables taste good! I like to season my vegetables with tons of spices, a little salt, Sriracha, and sometimes I get fancy and use lemon juice, tamari, or nutritional yeast! 🍚🥗🌿 Lately I’ve been eating this for dinner every night and it seriously hits the spot. In general, I’m not super hungry at night so my dinners aren’t that big, but I always save room for dessert.
