My lead Phil Bourassa gave me the opportunity to create the big villain monster of the season 1 finale. They approved it. And then I had to do the turnaround! :-O Without a doubt the most challenging turnaround of my career! I had a lot of fun though ^^ The Legend of Vox Machina season 1 and 2 are available on Amazon Prime Video. This is the animated adaptation of the popular Youtube roleplaying show Critical Role (2M+ subscribers), produced by Titmouse Inc.

A long time ago, I used to sketch people in the subway in Paris. It is a great exercise to draw fast, to catch the right pose and right expression, because there is always a lot of movements there. Turnaround of Cleo. For a cut-out animation style (with Toonboom Harmony). The most used pose would be the 3 quarter view so it is important to have a nice face for this pose. BUT it is in this case more of a 1/8 than a 3/4 so I added a real 3q for a smoother rotation, to help animators. Many sequences were animated “traditionally” not using the puppet build. Worth a watch!!! The person who released the Evil Genius. It was inspired loosely by the clothing eccentricity of @kanyewest @pharrell as well as other rappers back in 2016… and Mr T!!
