I should really make a post abt this instead of leaving cryptic tags and asks, but oh well lol

I thought long and hard one day about these guy's heads and came to the conclusion that, yeah, they technically ARE solid. They're basically solid spheres with a smaller, "negative space" sphere inside that's always visible at the forefront. It's kinda like a camera at the centre that shows everything behind them (except for their own body)

It's mostly visual though, you can't touch that sphere in any way (unless you crack their heads open) so it'd make sense that in the dark their heads would appear solid, because they are! Light can't pass through their heads because they ARE just spheres all around. But that negative sphere makes it look like a donut from every angle

(also I hc that if their heads DO suddenly become donut shaped, it is because their head just. Collapsed in on itself and became a hollow circle. Which would explain why Sec was so bothered by that basketball ring nightmare in the shorts)
