This. Is. So. Dumb. I enjoy politics and I don’t even want to watch two nights of debate. The DNC just needs to grow a pair and have a cut off of ten candidates for one night. Its not the DNC’s job to get your candidate’s name out there. That’s your candidate’s job. People have been declaring since January. If 6+ months isn’t enough for you to get a few percentage points of support, just go home.

According to Berniebots, they have higher standards than anybody else. They have a “purity test” which allows none but those fitting the outline of the holiest of holies -- Bernard Sanders, I, VT -- to rise to higher office.  Right now Kamala Harris is failing the purity test because she parked beside a Goldman Sachs banker or stood behind him in line at CVS or his shadow passed over hers or idk idgaf.  Instead of slicing Ms. Harris open and reading her entrails for signs of worthiness, though, we should instead check out the followers of Mr. Sanders.  No slicing necessary.  We can know them by their deeds.   And what we can see in their deeds is that no candidate BUT Sanders will do.  For example, let’s say I found Senator Perfect, and he matched Sanders in every way, except that he -- Senator Perfect -- was younger, handsome, had an attractive family and solid record of achievement.  My guess is the Berniebots would say Senator Perfect would be a great Vice President.  Why not president? Because Bernie gets to be president. I can’t think of a single instance where Bernie wouldn’t become president if the Bots had their way.  Regardless of his baggage, his wife’s baggage, his manipulation of his supporters, his responsibility for Trump’s election, his lack of undertanding of how government works and on and on and on.  There will never be a candidate who deserves to be president more than Bernie Sanders, I. Vermont. And that, my friends, is why the Bernibots belief that they’re morally and intellectually superior is bullshit.  If Hillary Cinton had handed the Dem nominatio to Sanders, leaving $200 million in Goldman Sachs dollars on the table, the Berniebots would have scooped it up with glee.
