I stared this like a year ago and then came back to it the other night. I’m so glad I did. Modern AU Capri is finally out of my head, I will not apologize. They are your problem now. ❤️
Another one I should've posted here before! These are the full versions of all 4 captive prince fanjackets I did over a period of a couple months (the alt text serves double duty for these, since describing the pics spills out my symbolic reasonings for the covers).
This was a project so dear to me and I hope you enjoy!
"But if he wins?"
(Berencel food 🥺)
“berenger’s horses were at the centre of his attention”

The request was “Berenger and Ancel waltzing” but for some reason I can’t post it? Idk guys.
This pose is from man and women dancing by Leyendecker, inspired by ch13 of Marriage Material
Not that I’ve read many retellings of Captive Prince from Laurent’s POV, but none of them dwelt on or explored the potential of Berenger throwing his support behind his prince, as it was revealed in Pet. I think this could lead to some interesting developments behind the scenes of the main narrative from Damianos’ POV. I can understand authors’ reluctance to deal with Berenger separately from Ancel, since he may seem boring and colourless while Ancel steals the scene and all the attention. But I actually find Berenger quite an intriguing character.
*obsessed* doesn't even begin to cover it
