Once they’re in a relationship, Benji ABSOLUTELY overuses the nickname angel for saps. Thats his beautiful gorgeous pretty angel who he adores <333

Even before they were officially together, I imagine Benji would probably refer to Saps as angel in his thoughts

Benji loves preening Saps wings, like it’s genuinely his favorite activity ever. He loves knowing that saps trusts him to do that, and loves the way Saps melts into his hands

Benji tries to hides a lot of what his citizens think about Saps from him. Since they are very much Not Happy about having to keep a wanted criminal in their kingdom, and Benji doesn’t want Saps to be stressed out or feel guilty because of that

Benji stays up late for his job as a ruler often, and Saps struggles with sleep after everything he’s been through. So, of course, that leads to them spending a lot of late nights together.

They’re both amazing cooks so they often cook meals together or for eachother. Saps is more skilled since he had to sustain himself while Benji lost the habit of cooking often after he became a ruler.

When Schpood suggested the idea of Saps staying in westhelm since it’d be safer, Benji got 10x more clingy with saps for the rest of the day.

And although Elysium is a neutral and peaceful nation, Benji would do anything to protect Saps, but his people is unhappy about giving refuge to a criminal, so all the world is against them both.
