A volleyball tournament where you can go all out against your adversaries? What could possibly go wrong? Well, a bunch of things, in fact, which is why Battler hasn’t really gone all out at all so far. By some miracle, he’s managed to convince his partner to do the same, but he dreads that won’t hold much longer, much to their next adversaries’ woe.

Well, the people before him do seem a bit stronger than the folks he and Abel have faced so far, but would even they be able to hold off against potentially ludicrous reality bending from his part AND merciless raw strength from Abel’s? He doesn’t think so.

He has no special education aside from the abilities that he’s taught himself, namely his ability to hack, code, and build machines. This was learned through childhood as a special interest and he found to be quite proficient at it, though he was much more interested in taking things apart than putting them back together. Wrench would often completely wreck electronic items for the sole purpose of learning how they operated. It was rare that he gave himself time to fix the items he broke; instead, he took select pieces of the pulled apart items and crafted new things that were almost entirely useless for every day utility, but entertained him enough to pursue it as a ‘career’ of sorts. 

     Dark and small enclosed space lacking of air, he should have known to experience this sooner or later. This apartment was known not to be fully operational, given the fact that a heavy construction remained in progress for this entire island.      Groceries purchased from an unfurnished store earlier would be helpful to last him for awhile. Unknowingly of their current lift location within this apartment was stressful nonetheless. Was he able to break out of this lift, directing himself to a certain apartment floor entrance upon opening the lift door?

Getting roped into a team with two strangers and a familiar face was not how Tokoha had imaged spending her day. It’s not like there was anyone else her and Gao knew around at the moment.

“So,” She began while observing her three companions, “Can we make this work? This isn’t my idea of an ideal team but we should try.”

One appeared to look like a cosplayer, Gao looked just as confused as she did, and the other stranger was wearing interesting headphones while fiddling with some kind of device in his hands. Both were strange, but they didn’t seem to be bad company to be around.

Sharing a glance with Gao she turned her attention back to their teammates.

“I suppose we’ll have to decide on a name before we get started, any ideas?”

✴: » Perhaps it was the influence of having been around them for so long that Arnath had something akin to a second sense when it came down to the true humanity of others. Being a half demon for so long and knowing how much of her physiology was so different made her a bit more sensitive to others being around her. At a glance it was easy to tell if she should be on high alert or not if they weren’t what they seemed. Her senses never truly failed her in time of need so when she walked passed a young boy, it only took a second for her to stop in her tracks before addressing him without the need to even look back.
